NAME OF ACTIVITY: VISIT TO AN OLD AGE HOME

On Saturday, the 22nd October 2016, 31 students from classes IX to XII of Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar, accompanied by two teachers Mrs. R.D.Arora and Mrs. Shilpa Banerjee visited ShashiRaj foundation-an Old Age Home accommodating 30 old people located in Shahdara.
The Interactors decorated the Old Age Home and had breakfast with the elderly people which they carrried. Students interacted with the inmates and celebrated Diwali with them.
- Students were able to develop empathy towards old people.
- Students were sensitized towards the needs and conditions of old people.
- Students were able to pay due respect to the elderly people.
- Students made elderly people happy by spending quality time with them.
