The participants researched and spoke about the interesting facts about the heavenly bodies in the space. The students dressed up accordingly and carried relevant props related to the theme to enhance their presentation.

On the occasion of Earth Day, Class 3, 4, and 5 students enthusiastically participated in different activities like slogan writing, poster making and craft activity. 

  • The aim was to spread awareness about the importance of preserving our planet and to encourage students to take necessary actions to protect the environment.
  • The celebration of Earth Day helps to instill sense of responsibility and compassion for the Mother Earth in our little ones.

The participants enacted old advertisements in a humorous way, giving them a modern twist. Students dressed up accordingly and carried relevant props related to the advertisement in order to enhance their presentation.

Participating Class: Class III

An activity  ‘Cartoonist was organized for the students of class III. Students created beautiful Cartoons images using 3D shapes in 3D Paint application.

The main objective of this activity was to educate students regarding 3D objects, shapes and how to use these things in constructive manner.

The children researched and discussed various ways to conserve natural resources like water, soil, air, coal etc. They spoke 1-2 minutes in English explaining the importance to conserve natural resources for our future generations.

The objective behind the activity was to promote awareness among the students towards sustainable use of our natural resources. Thus, it was a great learning experience as well as an enjoyable activity for all the students.

DAY & DATE: WEDNESDAY, 10th APRIL 2024

PARTICIPATING CLASS: CLASS I

Name Tag making for children is an engaging and beneficial learning experience that combines art, literacy, and social development. To enhance creativity, social skills and foster a sense of welcoming class environment children of Class I had a Name Tag making activity on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.

Highlights of the activity-

  • This activity was conducted in the respective Class I classrooms.
  • By creating their own name tags, children learned to recognize and write their names.
  • Children developed fine motor skills, creativity, and a sense of ownership.
  • Moreover, wearing name tags enhanced interaction and community building within the classroom.

In conclusion children made beautiful Name Tags using ear bud printing. It was a fun filled activity that allowed kids to express themselves through art.

 

NAME OF THE ACTIVITY: MY HEALTHY PLATE

DAY AND DATE: WEDNESDAY,10TH APRIL 2024

PARTICIPATING CLASS:  II

In today's modern era where fast food and unhealthy eating habits prevail, it has become need of the hour to educate children about the importance of maintaining a balanced diet for their overall health. To apprise the students about healthy eating habits a ‘My Healthy Plate’ activity was organised on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.

Highlights of the activity-

  • By making their own healthy plate, students learned to identify different food groups and appreciated its nutritional value. Also, students gained an understanding of the concept of a balanced diet.
  • Additionally, students gained practical knowledge that they can apply in their daily lives to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
  • Students developed hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness by placing the pictures of food items accurately onto the plate.

In conclusion, students made their own healthy plate using pictures. It was a great hands-on learning experience which promoted awareness about nutrition thereby encouraging healthy eating habits from a young age.

 

Name of the activities- World Health Day

Class- III- V

Day & Date- Friday, 5th April 2024

World Health Day was celebrated to raise awareness about good health and promote healthy living practices. The students took a health pledge to make healthy habits a part of their lifestyle. They also performed Zumba and learnt various steps to keep their body toned and fit.

In Healthy lunch box activity each student brought a wholesome tiffen full of  proteins carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. They spoke about nutrient content of healthy food items they brought in their lunch box. The activity made them understand the importance of nutrients in home cooked meals.

Participating Class: Class IV (Mass participation)

All the students performed the activity in their respective classes. They used Pebbles to show crafty talent. Students used their best creative and imaginative skills while doing Pebble craft. Total 211 students participated in the activity.

The purpose of conducting the activity was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence, imagination and creativity by doing the activity on their own.

विषय भारतीय भाषा उत्सव

दिनांक- 11/12/23

प्रतिभागी कक्षा – III-V

महाकवि सुब्रह्मण्य भारती की 141 वीं जयंती के अवसर पर 11 दिसंबर, 2023 को  बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल बृज विहार में  भारतीय भाषा उत्सव मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों के लिए एक  गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया । इस गतिविधि में विद्यार्थियों ने चित्रफलक पर बने वृक्ष पर स्टिकी नोट में अपना नाम एवं हस्ताक्षर लिखकर चिपकाया। साथ ही अपने शिक्षक एवं शिक्षिका के साथ मातृभाषा में अपने विचार साझा किए ।

 इस आयोजन में बच्चों को भारतीय भाषाओं पर आधारित संगीतपरक वीडियो भी दिखाया गया। जिसमें भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों के प्रसिद्ध कलाकारों ने भारतीय भाषाओं में गीत को सुमधुर स्वर में गाया है ।

इस आयोजन का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्रगणों को  भारतीय भाषाओं के महत्व एवं प्रयोग से अवगत कराना था ।

The aim of the activity was to bring happiness and joy to everyone. The students presented a spectacular show using different props and amusing actions. They learnt the importance of being happy in life. They recited the poem confidently with proper expression and used appropriate content.

Poster Making Activity on ‘Mental Health’, dedicating to the Mental Health Day , was organized for students of classes III-V . By virtue of their creativity, our students highlighted the importance of mental well-being in their artwork and each poster was unique and colorful.

The students learnt the ways to promote good mental health and its importance in building confidence, to succeed and to live a positive and healthy life. The students participated with sincerity and enthusiasm in the activity.

It can help them get into the habit of saving money for different purposes. Moreover, the students will identify and categories the pictures in terms of ‘wants’ and ‘needs’.

  4. Birthday Celebration:
    • Students celebrated Roald Dahl's birthday by reading his books in the school library, creating an immersive and engaging literary experience.

Additionally-During the periods with class I students, the library underwent a whimsical transformation with colourful balloon decorations. The children were filled with wonder as they explored this enchanting space dedicated to Roald Dahl's birthday.

So, the librarian, in this magical setting, shared not just Roald Dahl's stories but also the inspiring tale of the author's life.

The Roald Dahl birthday celebration was a resounding success, with active participation from students of classes III B, IIIC, III D, and V E. It fostered a love for reading and literature.

Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centre’s attention; and sharpens concentration. Students of Classes I - V participated in a plethora of events organised to mark the International Day of Yoga. A Painting competition, An Online Quiz and Poster making, Rhythmic yoga, Paper bag making, Yoga logo colouring, International yoga day painting, Awareness and benefit of Asana Competition were organised. The theme of the activity was based on Yoga Postures, Benefits of Yoga respectively. To add on to the theme the students were dressed in white clothes for the occasion. All the students participated zealously in all the events.

Name of the activity: Healthy Tri Colour Sandwich Making Activity

Day and Date: Saturday, 22nd January 2022

Participating Class: Class III

The students of Class III participated in the Online Hands on Activity ‘Tri
colour Sandwich making’. They made the sandwiches with whole wheat
bread, green coriander chutney, hung curd, lettuce leaf, cottage cheese and
grated carrot in a very fun-filled and an interesting manner. Seasoning like
chat masala, black pepper and oregano were used to enhance the taste .The
sandwiches were full of nutritious vegetables and taught the children the
goodness of eating healthy. They garnished the sandwiches and each student
gave a presentation in the class. The students made colourful nutritious
sandwiches in a hygienic way. Children learnt that eating multi coloured
vegetables and greens will help increase powerful antioxidants in our blood.
All the students enjoyed the activity and relished the Tri-colour sandwiches.
