An activity  ‘Cartoonist’ was organized for the students of class III. Students created beautiful Cartoons images using 3D shapes in 3D Paint application.

The main objective of this activity was to educate students regarding 3D objects, shapes and how to use these things in constructive manner.

Name Tag making for children is an engaging and beneficial learning experience that combines art, literacy, and social development. To enhance creativity, social skills and foster a sense of welcoming class environment children of Class I had a Name Tag making activity on Wednesday, 10^th April 2024.

Highlights of the activity-

• This activity was conducted in the respective Class I classrooms.
• By creating their own name tags, children learned to recognize and write their names.
• Children developed fine motor skills, creativity, and a sense of ownership.
• Moreover, wearing name tags enhanced interaction and community building within the classroom.

In conclusion children made beautiful Name Tags using ear bud printing. It was a fun filled activity that allowed kids to express themselves through art.

In today's modern era where fast food and unhealthy eating habits prevail, it has become need of the hour to educate children about the importance of maintaining a balanced diet for their overall health. To apprise the students about healthy eating habits a ‘My Healthy Plate’ activity was organised on Wednesday, 10^th April 2024.

Highlights of the activity-

• By making their own healthy plate, students learned to identify different food groups and appreciated its nutritional value. Also, students gained an understanding of the concept of a balanced diet.
• Additionally, students gained practical knowledge that they can apply in their daily lives to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
• Students developed hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness by placing the pictures of food items accurately onto the plate.

In conclusion, students made their own healthy plate using pictures. It was a great hands-on learning experience which promoted awareness about nutrition thereby encouraging healthy eating habits from a young age.

World Health Day was celebrated to raise awareness about good health and promote healthy living practices. The students took a health pledge to make healthy habits a part of their lifestyle. They also performed Zumba and learnt various steps to keep their body toned and fit.

In Healthy lunch box activity each student brought a wholesome tiffen full of  proteins carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. They spoke about nutrient content of healthy food items they brought in their lunch box. The activity made them understand the importance of nutrients in home cooked meals.

महाकवि सुब्रह्मण्य भारती की 141 वीं जयंती के अवसर पर 11 दिसंबर, 2023 को  बाल भारती पब्लिक स्कूल बृज विहार में  भारतीय भाषा उत्सव मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों के लिए एक  गतिविधि का आयोजन किया गया । इस गतिविधि में विद्यार्थियों ने चित्रफलक पर बने वृक्ष पर स्टिकी नोट में अपना नाम एवं हस्ताक्षर लिखकर चिपकाया। साथ ही अपने शिक्षक एवं शिक्षिका के साथ मातृभाषा में अपने विचार साझा किए ।

 इस आयोजन में बच्चों को भारतीय भाषाओं पर आधारित संगीतपरक वीडियो भी दिखाया गया। जिसमें भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों के प्रसिद्ध कलाकारों ने भारतीय भाषाओं में गीत को सुमधुर स्वर में गाया है ।

Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centre’s attention; and sharpens concentration. Students of Classes I - V participated in a plethora of events organised to mark the International Day of Yoga. A Painting competition, An Online Quiz and Poster making, Rhythmic yoga, Paper bag making, Yoga logo colouring, International yoga day painting, Awareness and benefit of Asana Competition were organised. The theme of the activity was based on Yoga Postures, Benefits of Yoga respectively. To add on to the theme the students were dressed in white clothes for the occasion. All the students participated zealously in all the events.

Students presented beautiful collages on the topic 3 R’s-Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Through this activity, students learnt about the importance of Mother Nature and various ways to save it. Also, they understood the concept of 3R’s. All three rules - reduction, reuse, and recycling - help us reduce the amount of waste we throw away.

1. Students will bring sapling, thermocol glass and soil from home. They will put the soil and then will sow the sapling in the theremocol glass. They will take the thermocol glass home and plant the sapling in the ground and nurture it properly at home.

Day and Date: Saturday, 22nd January 2022

Participating Class: Class III

The students of Class III participated in the Online Hands on Activity ‘Tri
colour Sandwich making’. They made the sandwiches with whole wheat
bread, green coriander chutney, hung curd, lettuce leaf, cottage cheese and
grated carrot in a very fun-filled and an interesting manner. Seasoning like
chat masala, black pepper and oregano were used to enhance the taste .The
sandwiches were full of nutritious vegetables and taught the children the
goodness of eating healthy. They garnished the sandwiches and each student
gave a presentation in the class. The students made colourful nutritious
sandwiches in a hygienic way. Children learnt that eating multi coloured
vegetables and greens will help increase powerful antioxidants in our blood.
All the students enjoyed the activity and relished the Tri-colour sandwiches.
