World Health Day Celebration 2026

- Activities:
- Poster Making: Students from classes III-V created posters on ‘My Balanced Diet Menu’ which highlighted how a balanced diet is beneficial for our body.
- Physical Activity: A Zumba session was conducted for all students to promote mindfulness, improve physical health, boost cardiovascular health, strengthen and tone muscles.
- Cleanliness Module: Teachers presented the cleanliness module and students demonstrated healthy habits such as proper handwashing ,personal hygiene, toilet hygiene which helped students understand that cleanliness is part of staying healthy and preventing illness.
The World Health Day celebration was a resounding success, educating students on the significance of maintaining a healthy body and mind. It encouraged the school community to adopt sustainable health habits and promote overall well-being.
BAGLESS DAY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL – CLASS III TO V (2026–27)
The Bagless Day for the month of April marked a joyful beginning of the new academic session 2026–27 for the students of Classes III to V. The day was thoughtfully planned to create a welcoming, comfortable and engaging environment for students as they stepped into their new classes. In alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the activities focused on experiential learning, emotional well-being and social bonding.
The day began with a Warm Welcome, where students were greeted with cheerful smiles and welcome wristbands, creating a sense of belonging and excitement. This was followed by the Morning Prayer and Exercise, which helped students start the day with positivity, mindfulness and energy.
Students then participated in an Introduction Session, where they interacted with their classmates and teachers, helping them build new friendships and confidence. A healthy Fruit Break was organized to promote good eating habits and refresh the students.
To make students feel comfortable in their new environment, Ice-Breaker Activities were conducted through fun games that encouraged communication and teamwork. This was followed by a discussion on Class Rules and Expectations, where students were guided about discipline, classroom behaviour and mutual respect.
Teachers also conducted a Books and Syllabus Talk, giving students a brief overview of subjects and what they would learn during the year. This helped reduce anxiety and build curiosity among learners. The day continued with a Creative Activity, where students expressed themselves through drawing and craft work, followed by a joyful Lunch Party, encouraging sharing and bonding. Students also participated in Talent Time, where they showcased their unique skills and ended the day with an energetic Dance Session, filling the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm.
Conclusion: The Bagless Day of April (2026–27) was a joyful and meaningful start to the academic year. It successfully created a welcoming environment where students felt safe, happy and motivated to learn. The blend of fun, creativity and interaction helped students build confidence, friendships and a positive attitude towards school life.

Students from Classes III to V participated in the Day Adventure Camp organized by Rocksport within the school premises. The camp was a perfect blend of fun, adventure, and experiential learning, providing students with opportunities to build confidence, teamwork, leadership skills, and physical endurance.
The day commenced with arrival and attendance at 7:45 AM. A detailed safety briefing and group formation were conducted at 8:30 AM, after which the adventure activities began. Students participated in 10–12 exciting activities, including Zipline, Sports Wall Climbing, Roller Zorb, Burma Bridge, Commando Crawl, and Hamster Wheel. These activities encouraged students to overcome fears, develop resilience, and enhance their social and coordination skills.
Nutritious meals were arranged throughout the day. Breakfast included Poori-Aloo with Lemon Water flavored Tang. Lunch comprised Rajma-Rice, Paneer with Naan, Raita, Salad, and Jalebi. Evening snacks included Vegetable Chowmein, Aloo and Palak Pakoda with Mango-flavored Tang.
After lunch at 2:30 PM, students enjoyed a Magic Show, DJ session, and engaging camp games, which added excitement and enthusiasm to the afternoon. The camp concluded with evening refreshments and dispersal at 4:00 PM.
The Day Adventure Camp was a grand success and provided students with a memorable and enriching experience beyond the classroom.

All the students performed the activity in their respective classes. They used wooden/plastic or other kind of tray and made the Folk art design and showed their creativity. Students used their best creative and imaginative skills while decorating the tray based on Folk art theme. Total 203 students participated in the activity.
The activity aimed to enhance creativity, cultural awareness and artistic skills among learners while fostering healthy competition. They created designs reflecting folk art patterns from various regions of India such as Madhubani, Warli, Patta Chitra, Gond art etc. The activity successfully encouraged appreciation of traditional art forms while nurturing fine motor skills, aesthetic sense and artistic expression.

Students used shells of pistachio, coconut, walnut, peanut, and sea shells etc. with supporting craft material to design creative composition reflecting elements of beauty found in their surroundings. The Shell Craft activity proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience enabling students to connect art with beauty that exists around them.

Activity: Hindi Panchak Celebration
Dates: 22nd – 26th September 2025

Overview:
Hindi Panchak, a five-day celebration of our national language, was organized in the Junior Library from 22nd to 26th September 2025. The event aimed to promote the beauty, richness, and joy of Hindi through interactive and creative activities tailored for each class. The celebration encouraged students to explore Hindi in fun and meaningful ways, while also involving parents in the festivities.
Class-wise Activities:
- Class 2 – चित्र और शब्द:
Students were shown vibrant images depicting markets, parks, and festivals. They identified and spoke five Hindi words visible in the pictures, fostering vocabulary development and observation skills. - Class 3 – लोकोक्ति लड्डू:
Each student received a Hindi proverb (लोकोक्ति/कहावत) and acted it out. Their classmates attempted to guess the meaning, combining learning with performance and engagement. - Class 4 – कविता बनाओ:
Students were given five fun Hindi words and created a short, four-line poem. This activity encouraged creativity, expression, and poetic thinking. - Class 5 – हँसो और सुनाओ:
Comic strips from English comics such as Amar Chitra Katha and Asterix were shown to students, who then narrated the dialogues in Hindi. This activity promoted language translation skills and expressive reading. - Class 6 – मुहावरे से कहानी:
Each student received a Hindi मुहावरा and narrated a short story based on it. This enhanced understanding of idiomatic expressions and creative storytelling skills. - Class 7 – पुस्तक परिचय:
Students selected a Hindi book from the library and gave a one-minute “Pustak Pitch” to motivate peers to read. This activity encouraged critical thinking, presentation skills, and reading enthusiasm.
Special Parent Participation – “Mere Ghar Ka Shabd”:
Parents contributed by sharing words or objects used at home through small slips or sticky notes. Examples included:
- अम्मा – used for mother (common among grandparents)
- गागर – a vessel for water (used by grandmothers)
- चरखी – kite-flying tool (used by fathers)
- लोटा – small vessel for drinking/storing water
- हिंडोला – swing (used by mothers during summers)
All entries were displayed on the library Shabd Board, showcasing the diversity of Hindi words used in different households.
Learning Outcome:
The Hindi Panchak celebration successfully engaged students in language-based creative activities, promoted interactive learning, and strengthened the connection between home and school through parent participation. J.K. Rowling’s Birthday Celebration

To mark the birthday of renowned author J.K. Rowling, the creator of the magical world of Harry Potter, the Junior Library hosted a special celebration on 31st July 2025, engaging students in thoughtful, imaginative, and creative activities across classes. The aim was to foster appreciation for the Harry Potter series while encouraging literary expression and artistic flair.
Classes II & III – Thank You, Teacher! (Harry Potter Style)
Students explored the theme of gratitude by learning about Harry Potter’s favorite teachers and their traits. They then penned short thank-you notes for their own teachers, comparing them to characters like Hagrid, Professor Lupin, or Dumbledore. This activity inspired values of respect, admiration, and personal connection.
Classes IV & V – Harry Potter Bookmark Fiesta
In this artistic activity, students brought creatively designed Harry Potter-themed bookmarks, featuring their favorite spells, characters, and symbols from the magical series. The bookmarks added a splash of color and wonder to the library display.
Classes VI & VII – Book Jacket Design Display
Class VI & VII students channeled their imagination to design book jackets for any Harry Potter title, combining visual creativity with literary understanding. Their work reflected knowledge of the plot, themes, and characters, and made for a captivating display.
Happy Birthday, J.K. Rowling – Creator of the Magical World of Harry Potter!
Children contributed a delightful collection of handmade bookmarks, book jackets, and heartwarming thank-you notes for their favorite teachers, all of which were proudly displayed on the Library Board. Students had an interactive session on Water Conservation. In an effort to raise awareness about environmental issues, particularly the importance of water conservation, an educational video session was organized for the students of classes III-V. Students also took part in a Financial Literacy Module, where they learned to differentiate between want and need in a simple and engaging way.

In honor of World Book Day, the Junior Library hosted a delightful celebration on April 23rd, 2025, featuring a variety of engaging and meaningful activities tailored to different age groups. The event aimed to foster a love for books, storytelling, and shared literary experiences among students attending their library periods on this special day.
Class II – My Favorite Story
Students enthusiastically shared the names of two books they had read and presented a short summary of one story. They also reflected on a key lesson or moral from the story, encouraging personal connection with the content. Those who couldn’t recall book names were encouraged to share any story they remembered, making the activity inclusive and confidence-boosting.
Class III – Three Books I Know
Students named three books along with their authors and shared something they enjoyed about any one of them. This activity helped enhance their awareness of book titles and appreciation for authors, while promoting thoughtful discussion and literary recall.
Classes IV to VII – Human Library: Stories from the Heart
Students participated in a “Human Library” format, where they paired up and shared stories heard from parents, grandparents, or drawn from real-life experiences. Their partners summarized each story in a single line, promoting attentive listening and empathy. Students rotated partners every few minutes, allowing for a rich exchange of diverse stories.

- To commemorate Earth Day, a Collage Making Activity was conducted on 22nd April 2025 for the students of classes III to V.
- The activity aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation and encourage students to reflect on their role in protecting our Earth.
- Students enthusiastically participated in the activity, creating beautiful collages using pictures depicting elements of nature such as air, water, trees and wildlife.
- They also wrote catchy and meaningful slogans to complement their work. As part of the activity, students discussed 3–4 simple yet impactful ways to save the Earth, such as planting trees, saving water, reducing plastic use etc.

To mark a celebration of nature and instill environmental responsibility in young minds, the students of Class II participated in a heartwarming activity “Vriksh Bandhan” on Monday, 21st April 2025.
Highlights of the Activity
- Students tied red raksha sutras to trees, symbolizing their commitment to protect nature.
- They took a simple, rhyming pledge promoting environmental responsibility.

- Teachers explained the importance of trees in an age-appropriate and interactive manner.

Students from Classes III to V participated in the Day Adventure Camp organized by Rocksport within the school premises. The camp was a perfect combination of fun, adventure, and learning, providing students with an opportunity to enhance their confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
The day commenced with the arrival and attendance at 8:15 AM, followed by a briefing and group distribution. The adventure activities began at 8:30 AM, engaging students in thrilling challenges. They participated in 10-12 adventure activities, including Zipline, Sports Wall Climbing, Roller Zorb, Burma Bridge, Commando Crawl, and Hamster Wheel. These activities helped students overcome their fears, develop resilience, and strengthen their social skills.
The students enjoyed a mid-day meal break at 10:00 AM, followed by more adventure activities. After a lunch break at 1:00 PM, they were entertained with a Magic Show, DJ session, and camp games, filling the afternoon with excitement and joy. The camp concluded with an evening snack at 3:30 PM, followed by dispersal at 4:00 PM

TOPIC : Weighing Hanger
THEME : Measuring Weight
The Weighing Hanger activity was organized for the students of Class I to introduce the concept of weight and measurement using a weighing hanger in a simple and engaging way. Students placed different objects on each side of the hanger and observed how the balance shifted, helping them understand the idea of comparison and relative weight. This hands-on activity developed a foundational understanding of how weight is measured.
The primary objective of the activity was to help students distinguish between heavy and light objects. Students were also able to demonstrate that the heavier side of the hanger moves downwards and the lighter side goes upwards.
The Weighing Hanger was a successful and enjoyable initiative. Students showed great enthusiasm during the activity, asking questions and eagerly volunteering to try the scale themselves. The hands-on approach not only made the concept easier to understand but also made learning enjoyable for young students.

Description of the activity: Under “My Trees Program”, Bal Bharati Public School took up a challenge to plant trees. In this activity, each student planted at least one sapling near his/her house, took care of it, nurtured it and connected with it for the future. Each child is going to maintain a growth record till the next two years.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION 2024

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, students enthusiastically participated in online activities assigned for respective classes. Class III-V children performed different yoga postures. Class III children performed ‘Sitting Yoga Postures’, class IV children performed ‘Standing Yoga Postures and class V students performed ‘Rhythmic Yoga’ along with their parents. The activity was conducted smoothly. The session was interactive and all the children along with their parents actively performed the respective yoga postures.
● The aim was to promote physical and mental well-being while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the ancient practice of yoga.
● The celebration of International Yoga Day not only fostered physical fitness but also instilled a sense of discipline, mindfulness, and unity among the students and their families.

Highlights of the activity-

In today's modern era where fast food and unhealthy eating habits prevail, it has become need of the hour to educate children about the importance of maintaining a balanced diet for their overall health. To apprise the students about healthy eating habits a ‘My Healthy Plate’ activity was organised on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.
Highlights of the activity-
- By making their own healthy plate, students learned to identify different food groups and appreciated its nutritional value. Also, students gained an understanding of the concept of a balanced diet.
- Additionally, students gained practical knowledge that they can apply in their daily lives to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
- Students developed hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness by placing the pictures of food items accurately onto the plate.
In conclusion, students made their own healthy plate using pictures. It was a great hands-on learning experience which promoted awareness about nutrition thereby encouraging healthy eating habits from a young age.

World Health Day was celebrated to raise awareness about good health and promote healthy living practices. The students took a health pledge to make healthy habits a part of their lifestyle. They also performed Zumba and learnt various steps to keep their body toned and fit.
In Healthy lunch box activity each student brought a wholesome tiffen full of proteins carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. They spoke about nutrient content of healthy food items they brought in their lunch box. The activity made them understand the importance of nutrients in home cooked meals.

The students of Class III participated in the Online Hands on Activity ‘Tri
colour Sandwich making’. They made the sandwiches with whole wheat
bread, green coriander chutney, hung curd, lettuce leaf, cottage cheese and
grated carrot in a very fun-filled and an interesting manner. Seasoning like
chat masala, black pepper and oregano were used to enhance the taste .The
sandwiches were full of nutritious vegetables and taught the children the
goodness of eating healthy. They garnished the sandwiches and each student
gave a presentation in the class. The students made colourful nutritious
sandwiches in a hygienic way. Children learnt that eating multi coloured
vegetables and greens will help increase powerful antioxidants in our blood.
All the students enjoyed the activity and relished the Tri-colour sandwiches.
