On December 8, 2025, students of classes XI and XII (Commerce Group)  , had the privilege of attending an insightful workshop on Peak Performance Mastery, conducted by Dr. Vikas Vijay, renowned author of ‘Together With’ for Accountancy and Business Studies. Dr. Vijay, who is also a popular Instagram influencer known as Accounts Guru, shared his extensive expertise in academics and personal development with the eager attendees.

The workshop began with Dr. Vijay delving into the intricacies of the board exams, specifically focusing on Accountancy. He provided students with a comprehensive breakdown of the exam format, explaining the choice patterns and the types of questions frequently asked by CBSE. He also introduced students to various tricky questions and explained strategies to tackle them effectively. His tips and tricks for mastering the board exams were well-received, with students actively participating in a quiz that he organized, to demonstrate these concepts.

He also emphasized the power of willpower in achieving any goal, explaining how one's mindset plays a critical role in decision-making and long-term success. This workshop inspired students to look beyond academics and focus on personal growth and mental resilience.

Overall, the workshop was an enriching experience, blending academic guidance with personal development insights, leaving the students better equipped to handle the challenges of their board exams and beyond.

The session highlighted that meaningful relationships form the foundation of effective teaching and discipline, emphasizing empathy, respect, and understanding before correction.

Ms. Kapoor elaborated on age-appropriate strategies for connecting with students at different levels:

  • Primary Level:Teachers were encouraged to use warmth, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to build trust. Simple gestures like active listening, appreciating effort, and creating a safe, joyful classroom environment were emphasized.
  • Middle Level:The focus was on providing students with choices and acknowledging their growing need for independence. Teachers were guided to engage in open communication and involve students in decision-making to foster responsibility.
  • Senior Level:For adolescents, the session emphasized valuing autonomy, fairness, and respect. Kapoor suggested sharing classroom responsibilities and promoting self-reflection instead of reprimand. Reflective prompts like “What happened?” or “What could you do differently next time?” help empower students to self-correct.

The workshop was engaging and reflective, helping educators understand that connection precedes correction. It reinforced the belief that when students feel respected and understood, they are more open to guidance and positive behavioural change.

Dr. Preeti Phutela, an educationist with over three decades of school leadership experience and Content Head at GoSharpener, shared strategies to create socially responsible and eco-conscious classrooms.

The workshop primarily focused on strategies to integrate sustainability into everyday teaching practices. Dr. Phutela discussed the importance of using resources efficiently, minimizing waste, and fostering environmental consciousness among students. Teachers were encouraged to reflect on and share small acts of kindness they could implement within their classrooms and school communities, highlighting the connection between social responsibility and sustainability..

The workshop was a valuable experience, motivating educators to foster empathy, responsibility, and sustainability in their classrooms, aligned with NEP 2020 goals.

The Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Competency Based Assessment (Secondary Level) – Generic” was held on the 18th and 19th of July 2025. The two-day workshop aimed at equipping secondary level educators with comprehensive knowledge and strategies for competency-based assessment as per the latest CBSE and NEP guidelines.

The session began with an inaugural address by a senior official, highlighting the importance of shifting from rote learning to skill-based evaluation. Following this, the resource persons led a series of interactive and engaging sessions that focused on critical aspects of competency-based education, including framing learning outcomes, designing assessments, and differentiating between knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

Visual aids such as PowerPoint presentations and whiteboards were used effectively to explain core concepts. The learning environment was enhanced with group discussions, peer sharing, and hands-on activities. Participants enthusiastically took notes and interacted with the facilitators, reflecting a keen interest in adopting innovative classroom practices.

The venue was aesthetically set with informative posters and artwork that added vibrance to the learning space. The arrangements included all necessary teaching aids such as a projector, whiteboard, and audio-visual setup.

TOPIC: CES Impact Accelerator Workshop

The CES Impact Accelerator conducted a three days’ workshop named Future-Ready Teacher Innovator Program (FRTIP 3) on 21st, 22nd and 24th May 2025 in BBPS Noida and BBPS Gangaram Pusa Road respectively. Eight teachers namely Ms. Bharti Atrey, Mr. Mukesh Devrani, Ms. Akansha, Mr. Supriya Saha, Ms. Ranu Chakraborty, Ms. Deeksha, Ms. Tanya Verma and Mr. Vikash Kothari from Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar attended the workshop. The initiative was designed to propel the educators into the forefront of modern education. Core components include hands-on training with AI tools, mastering digital content creation, and developing effective strategies for hybrid teaching. One of the key objectives is to support remote schools in delivering high-quality education. By leveraging advanced technologies and digital tools, FRTIP ensures that students in remote areas have access to the same educational resources as their urban counterparts.

This session, titled "Understanding Skills and Attributes: A Career Planning Focused on Exploration," was led by the renowned career counsellor Mr. Jitin Chawla. Mr. Chawla represented the Centre for Career Development, India's largest career counselling firm, known for its expertise in career counselling, profile building, aptitude testing, and study abroad programs. The Centre is managed by professionals from premier management institutes such as FMS, IITs, and IIMs, along with a team of skilled psychologists.

In today's fast-paced and competitive world, choosing the right career path is crucial for ensuring a successful and fulfilling life. Grade X marks a pivotal phase in a student's educational journey, requiring extensive exploration, guidance, and skill enhancement. This orientation aimed to provide parents with the necessary insights to support their children in making informed decisions about their future careers. A professional development session was conducted by the school counsellor Mitali Chatterjee, on 17 th August 2024, for the teaching staff, focusing on the
concept and importance of counselling within the school environment.The session aimed to equip teachers with a better understanding of the
counselling process and how they can support their students. mental health and well-being.
Key Points Discussed:
1. Definition of Counselling: The counsellor began by defining counselling as a collaborative process where a trained professional helps individuals
explore and resolve personal challenges.
2. Identifying Students in Need of Counselling: Teachers were trained on recognizing signs that a student might benefit from counselling, such as
changes in behaviour, academic performance, social interactions, or emotional stability. The counsellor shared practical tips on how to
approach students who might need help and the importance of early intervention.
3. Confidentiality in Counselling: A significant portion of the session was dedicated to explaining the principles of confidentiality in counselling.
The counsellor clarified that while confidentiality is crucial, there are certain situations, such as safety concerns, where information must be
shared. This was discussed to ensure teachers understand the boundaries of confidentiality and when they might need to be involved.
4. Referral Process: The counsellor outlined the procedure for referring students to counselling services. Teachers were encouraged to
collaborate with the counsellor by providing relevant information and supporting the student throughout the process. The importance of
maintaining a non-judgmental attitude and providing ongoing support to students was emphasized.
OUTCOME:
The session concluded with an interactive Q & A where teachers could ask specific questions related to their experiences with students. The counsellor reiterated the importance of collaboration between teachers and counsellors to create a supportive learning environment for all students.
It is recommended that similar sessions be held periodically to keep teachers informed and up to date on best practices in supporting student mental health.
Ongoing communication between teachers and counsellors should be encouraged to ensure a cohesive approach to student well-being.

Students were divided in groups of 5.

Each group was given a name and given the task of giving a presentation on the difference between the old tax regime and the new tax regime.

2. MEDICAL 09 06 03 ANNU TIWARI Today, students of classes 11 th and 12 th went to Virmani

Hospital for a medical internship. Upon arrival, they first met Dr. Sahil Virmani,who warmly welcomed the students with great enthusiasm. He provided them

with detailed information about the hospital, different departments, and various types of patients. Then, they were directed to Mrs. Arpita Mishra, a

nurse, who showed them around the hospital. Mrs. Arpita Mishra showed them the emergency department, general OPD, general ward, semi-private ward, and private ward, providing information about the patients present there.The students interacted with the patients, understood their problems, and learned about the treatments prescribed by the doctors.It was the first time the students got such close exposure to the functioning of a hospital. They also visited the operation theater and obstetrics department,where they talked to female patients. They were briefed about different machines and medicines used during normal deliveries. They also visited the X-ray room, where a technician explained various machines to the students. The students also had a discussion with Dr. Rachita Virmani, a senior Gynecologist at the hospital, about various issues faced by women and their olutions. 7. LAW 10 08 02 MS. SANCHITA The law internship program for students offered practical experience in the legal field. Mentorship from experienced lawyers, including Mr. Jatin Sapra, an esteemed advocate at Tis Hazari Court, was a key

part of the program. Mr. Sapra introduced students to real-world practice, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge in a professional setting.

During the internship, students engaged in tasks such as legal research, drafting documents, attending court hearings, and assisting attorneys. These activities provided hands-on experience and a better understanding of legal procedures. Students also learned the importance of confidentiality, ethical behavior, and professionalism. 11 CIVIL 09 07 02 MS NEETU The visit to the DCP's office was informative and realistic. The students were provided with basic information on administrative duties and were even required to use critical thinking to solve some hypothetical cases. Conversation with the respected DCP was enlightening and explanatory, followed by a real-life exposure to public problems via the Jana Sunwayi where the DCP dealt with the public's issues. The visit also provided our students an exposure, that allowed us to sense a feeling of comfort with the police, unlike their general image that is considered to be rather frightening and fearful. The overall visit was decent and satisfactory.

Two days workshop on “Business studies” was organized by CBSE at Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar on 4th and 5th May 2024.

The workshop aimed to empower educators and professionals in the field with updated knowledge, skills, and methodologies to enhance the quality of business education. The resource person Dr. Mausam Sinha and Mr. Rajwardhan Purohit highlighted the importance of activity based learning,lesson planning application based questions. A Sensitization Programme on Retirement Planning for teachers was organised by CBSE in Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad on Monday,22nd April 2024.

An online session on ‘Guess the Watermelon’ was organized for the students of class VI. The activity began with a brief explanation of its concept. Students were instructed to imagine a scenario involving a watermelon and to brainstorm a list of verbs that could describe actions related to the watermelon. After brainstorming, students were tasked with associating action words associated with the watermelon. They were encouraged to incorporate as many verbs from their list as possible into the given narratives. The activity proved to be a fun and engaging way for students to explore the role of verbs in

Ms Bharadwaj shared valuable thoughts to the problem of bullying and ways to identify it. She also shared activities which can be conducted in class to identify the problem at an early stage and various mitigation strategies.

Ms. Pragya Nopany, CBSE National Awardee was one of the resource person.

She performed simple activities ,clearing many concepts of freely falling body and inertia. The teachers also performed these activities and were able to draw conclusions.

Her session on Common Errors in teaching Science cleared many concepts of defining states of matter.

Mr. Utkarsh Ahuja, mentor of Change Atal Tinkering lab thought provoking session on design and critical thinking , problem solving was an eye opening session to all.

It was indeed a day of learning for 40 teachers from different schools of Delhi/NCR region who had attended this workshop.

Fire safety is a crucial aspect of maintaining a secure and productive learning environment in educational institutions. Raising awareness amongst faculty and staff about fire safety is vital. Hence, a comprehensive fire prevention training session was organized in the school premises. The training session included fire prevention, procedure of using a fire extinguisher and proper use of fire safety equipment. All the teachers and employees were given a chance to operate the fire extinguisher independently while maintaining all the safety measures.
