The Fancy Dress Activity “Hindi Diwas - Ramayan Patra" aimed to educate and engage participants in the rich cultural and mythological heritage of the Ramayana by embodying characters from this epic, participants explored the values, virtues, and lessons imparted through the story. Participants were encouraged to dress up as characters from the ‘Ramayana’ and present brief acts or speeches about their roles.
Highlights of the Event:
- Participants showcased a wide range of costumes representing characters such as Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Hanuman, Ravana, and others.
- Each participant made a brief presentation or speech about their character, explaining their significance in the Ramayana.
The "Ramayan Patra" fancy dress activity achieved its goal of educating participants about the Ramayana while providing an engaging and enjoyable experience. The event not only celebrated our cultural heritage but also fostered creativity, teamwork, and speaking skills among the students.

Name of the Activity- Jungle Jambooree (Puppet making)

Participating class - Pre Primary
Puppet-making activity was conducted for Pre Primary kids on 6th September 24. The kids used materials like paper, popsicles, and markers to create their own puppets. They enjoyed the creative process, showcasing their fine motor skills. Some challenges included managing different skill levels, but overall, the activity was a success. The students were excited to take home their handmade cow puppet.

Making animal masks with children is a fun and educational activity that
introduces them to many different animals. It teaches students about
different animal characteristics such as ears, noses, and whiskers while also
fostering creativity. To make the learning experience more creative and
enjoyable, the “Furry Fantasia-Rabbit Mask Making Activity”.” was
organized for Pre-School children.
Highlights of the Activity
• The facilitator talked about various animals, their habitats, and the importance
of being kind and respectful to all living beings.
• The Children then created rabbit masks by assembling and pasting cutouts of
ears, noses, and whiskers. Once all parts were attached the teacher helped
them fasten a string so they could easily wear their mask.
• The children were thrilled with their masks, and had a lot of fun! It was a day
filled with joy and creativity.
At last, finishing their masks provided a sense of achievement, enhancing
their confidence and pride. The activity contributed to the holistic development of children, blending fun with learning in an engaging way.

‘Teacher’s day’, a day brimming with gratitude and celebration, was observed with great fervor at our school on Wednesday, 4th September 2024. This day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an eminent, philosopher, scholar and a dedicated teacher. As a tribute to the dedication of teachers in moulding the young minds, an assembly was organised by the students of the ‘Foundational Stage’.
Program Highlights:
- Welcome Address: The assembly commenced with a welcome address by the students to honor and recognize the contributions of their teachers and highlight the importance of teacher’s day in India.
- ‘Guru Vandana’: A group of students performed Guru Vandana, a traditional tribute to teachers, expressing gratitude and reverence. Their graceful performance, characterized by lively steps, bright costumes and melodious hymn created a serene and respectful atmosphere.
- Song and dance performance: The cultural programme also featured a vibrant song and another dance performance by the students of grade 1. The energetic dance moves, colourful costumes and a heartfelt singing were a visual and auditory treat for everyone present.
- ‘Speech on Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’: Followed by the dance, a student delivered a speech in Dr. Radhakrishnan’s honor. The speech emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping the future of students and the society.
- Dance performance by Pre-primary: Towards the end the little ones of pre-primary showcased their love for their teachers through a marvellous dance performance. Their graceful moves and joyful expressions were a testament for the bond they shared with their facilitators.

The Hindi Rhyme Recitation event titled ‘कविताओं का रंगमंच’ was
successfully organized. The event was a delightful celebration
of the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Hindi, with the
theme of ‘मौसम’ (Seasons).Students had to recite one rhyme
on the theme.
Highlights of the Event
• All the children presented their rhymes with colourful props
as per their rhyme.
• All the children participated with enthusiasm.
• The main purpose of conducting such activities was to build memory and self-confidence.

The celebration marks the birth of Lord Krishna who is the epitome of love, bliss, and perfection.
On August 23rd, 2024, the Foundation Stage eagerly commemorated the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, honouring the birth of Lord Krishna, a revered incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The festivities were marked by great enthusiasm and fervour, showcasing the spirit of teamwork and tradition.
The Janmashtami celebrations was a heartwarming tribute to Lord Krishna's birth, showcasing the students' creativity, teamwork, and cultural awareness.
Adding a touch of tradition and charm, the little ones dressed as Radha and Krishna, danced to the lively beats of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit. Their infectious energy and smiles made the celebration even more special.
Highlights of the Event:
- The 'Dahi Handi' ritual, where students from pre-primary enthusiastically participated, demonstrating the value of collaboration. The boys' energetic efforts to break the pot were met with cheers and applause.
- Children came dressed in as Krishna , Radha , Gwalas and Gopis.
- Anecdote from Krishna’s life was presented by students of Class 1 and 2.
- Children of pre school made beautiful flute with paper and paste peacock feather on it.
- Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the children of the Foundational Stage.
The celebration also created awareness about Indian tradition, custom and culture. It conveyed the strong message “Victory of good over evil.”

Raksha Bandhan or ‘Rakhi’ is a special occasion to celebrate the
virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister, which is one of
the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. To commemorate this
festival a “ Rakhi Making Activity” was organized for the preschoolers
on Friday, 16th August 2024.
Highlights of the Event
The children were guided through a discussion about the
festival’s significance and the way it is celebrated.
The teacher demonstrated how to assemble the cutouts of
squares, circles, and triangles to make the rakhi, and showed the
children how to decorate it.
Children showcased their creativity by crafting beautiful rakhis
that reflected their imaginative little minds.
The Rakhi Making Activity successfully introduced preschoolers to the
festival of Raksha Bandhan in a fun and educational way. The children’s
engagement and creativity highlighted the effectiveness of hands-on
learning in understanding cultural traditions.

Independence Day is a proud moment for every Indian, marking our nation's freedom from British rule on 15th August 1947. This year the school celebrated 78th Independence Day with zeal and patriotic spirit. The venue was beautifully decorated with tri colour hangings and balloons. Immersive cultural activities were organized for the foundational stage.
Major Attractions of the events
- Pre School-All the students were dressed in white and blue attire and created our national symbols using different art and craft styles.
- Pre Primary-The students performed with great enthusiasm on various patriotic songs.
- The students of class I and II delighted the audience with a charming group dance. Their performance, characterized by lively steps and bright costumes, captured the innocence and joy of childhood while celebrating the theme of freedom. Also, a "Freedom Fighters Walk." was organized to educate the students about India's freedom struggle and the courageous individuals who played pivotal roles in securing independence.
- A patriotic movie was shown to the students.
Independence Day is a key to educating young students about the sacrifices and achievements of our freedom fighters. This celebration is a valuable opportunity to instill the values of unity and diversity among students and to educate them about India’s rich heritage in a meaningful way.

Name of the Activity – I am a Sailor (sponge sail boat)

Children love doing craft activities, and it makes a fantastic way to blend creativity with learning.The sponge boat-making project was a perfect example of how crafting can be both fun and educational. This hands-on activity captivated preschoolers by allowing them to construct and decorate their own boats using sponge.
Highlights of the event-
- With pre-cut sponge pieces in various shapes, the students were able to easily assemble their boats with the help of glue and decorate them with colourful papers.
- After the boats were completed, they were tested in plastic tubs filled with water, giving the children a hands-on understanding of buoyancy as they observed how their boats floated.
Overall, the sponge boat-making activity was a successful blend of fun and education, helping children develop essential skills while enjoying a memorable, hands-on learning experience.

“The first drop of rain always brings a change”
Monsoon the beautiful season of the year is a gift of God to mankind. It revives our souls and fills the surroundings with the beauty of fresh greenery. To celebrate the monsoon season and to boost social skills amongst students a “Pool Party” was organized where they enjoyed the rain dance with music and a lot of splashing in the pool.
Highlights of the event-
- Each class of Pre School and Pre Primary were allotted time at respective venues.
- Pre School students enhanced their aesthetic sense, creativity and fine motor skills by making a caterpillar using coloured pom-poms and googly eyes.
- Pre-primary students created a beautiful and colourful fish with different textured papers.
- Students turned up in colourful swim suits and tapped their feet to the famous rain songs and recited rhymes of the rainy day.
The activity helped children understand the importance of rain. They learned to express their happiness by using their creative skills. Students had great fun while jumping in the water, and splashing water all around. The day was full of enthusiasm and brought about a lot of happiness amongst students.

Children of Preschool had an interesting activity ‘Dress me up” on Thursday 25th July 2024 in their respective classrooms. In this activity there were cutouts of a girl and a boy which had to be dressed by each child.
Highlights of the event-
- All the children were given a choice to dress between a girl or a boy.
- The second cutout was sent home for children to practice .
- All the children worked with great enthusiasm helping their friends and while working with great care on their cutouts.
The "Dress Me Up" Activity was a memorable experience for the children, providing them an opportunity to showcase their creativity and have fun with their friends.

Objective: To enhance students' communication skills, confidence, and ability to express their thoughts and emotions through a familiar and enjoyable subject— their favorite toys, a Show and Tell Activity on the theme Toy Talk was organized for Pre-Primary Students.
Activity overview: Students showed their favorite toys and spoke about them. Each student had a few minutes to present their toy, explain why it is special, and describe how they play with it. The judgement criteria were content, props, actions and expressions and overall presentation.

are easy to grow and can be used in many different dishes,
making them a common and important food.
To understand the importance of food a “ Peel and Scoop
Potatoes Activity” was conducted on Friday 19th July 2024.
Highlights:
• Importance of food was discussed by the teachers.
• Children learned about potatoes, their uses, and
nutritional value.
• Children peeled and scooped the potatoes by themselves and
it helped them in improving eye-hand coordination and fine
motor skills.
Overall, it was a hands-on and enjoyable experience in which
they learned new skills like peeling and scooping, understood
more healthy eating, and had fun being creative. It was a
great way to spend time learning and playing with potatoes.

’Smile, it lets your teeth breathe’
The dental hygiene sensory bag activity served as an engaging and educational experience for
pre school children, fostering a greater appreciation for oral hygiene practices and
promoting healthier smiles.
The primary objective of this activity was to promote awareness and understanding on dental
hygiene practices among children in a fun and interactive manner.
Highlights of the Event:
Children prepared a dental kit having small toothbrush, toothpaste, tongue cleaner and
a tissue paper.
Seva- After making dental kit, children were encouraged to give it to needy children.
Children were guided to brush their teeth twice a day on a regular basis and correct
way of washing hands was also told.
DIY craft related to brushing teeth was created by the pre schoolers
With the right tools, routine, and encouragement, children can enjoy maintaining a sparkling
smile while preventing dental issues. Encouraging good dental hygiene habits in children is
essential for their overall health and well-being.

planned for pre primary students on Wednesday, 01.05.2024.
Highlights of the Event:
• A rhyme on personal hygiene was recited with actions and expressions.
• Students crafted their own First Aid Kit using paper and kept essential
first aid material in the kit.
Sewa: As responsible citizens of the society, students felt their
responsibility to spread awareness about health and hygiene. Also, they
distributed the kits to security guards, watchmen and house helpers.
A first aid kit tailored for kids is an essential tool for maintaining their
health and safety, and ensuring prompt and effective response to minor
injuries and emergencies.

Blue is the another primary colour which holds its own unique allure and importance. It is a calming, serene colour that evokes feelings of tranquility and wonder. To celebrate the beauty and significance of this colour, a Blue colour day was organized on Monday, 29th April 2024 for Pre Schoolers. This event engaged and inspired Preschoolers through various blue-themed activities.
Highlights of the Event:
- Students of preschool came dressed in blue attires.
- Blue colour song was played in the classes.
- Variety of blue-coloured objects were shown.
- Feed the Shark: An exciting game where children had the opportunity to feed a pretend shark with blue-coloured fish. This activity aimed to enhance their hand-eye coordination and color recognition skills while fostering a sense of adventure.
- Blue Basket Race: A thrilling race where children participated in carrying blue baskets and collected blue items. This race not only promotes physical activity but also encourages teamwork and coordination among the children.
Students were excited and enjoyed their blue colour day with exhilaration.

Rhymes expand children’s imaginations and promote creativity. They help children assimilate language and help with speech development. Taking this as a consideration, a ”Together We Rhyme” Activity was organised for the Pre Primary class , we provided children with an opportunity to exhibit their talent and recite their own or known poem to everyone. The topic of the activity was “Things around me”. Through this activity, children not only honed their linguistic skills but also cultivated a love for language and performance, laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning and communication.
Highlights of the event:-
- Rhymes related to the topic were recited by Pre Primary students
- Students performed with actions, expressions , voice modulation ,and Confidence .
- Colourful props and beautiful backdrops were used.
The students of Pre-Primary recited rhymes with utter zest, which brought out their creative side, imagination, boosted their confidence, and enhanced oral expressions. The judges appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants.

“Earth is the God’s best gift to us, let’s care for it and save the green”
To commemorate our benevolent ‘Mother Earth’, Earth Day was celebrated on Monday, 22nd April 2024. An Array of activities were organized with an aim to instigate the students to save, love and respect Mother Nature with their heart and soul.
Highlights of the Event:
- Attractive 3D models of Earth were made by the Pre School students using play dough with a message to preserve and conserve Mother Earth.
- Sorting Activity with fallen leaves has been done and after the activity children were encouraged to put the leaves in the compost pit to make manure for the plants.
- Tree hugging activity inculcated the feeling of love and care towards the natural environment.
Students really enjoyed the activities, which brought out their creativity, imagination and fondness for the planet.

Sowing a seed in a day keeps the pollution away. Go Green and Save Green
International Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April every year. On this day, we consciously
make an effort to raise awareness for prevention of pollution and deforestation. To celebrate
the care, joy and engagement with all the life forms, Earth Day was organized on Monday,
22nd April 2024 for students of Pre Primary. Through hands-on learning, children joyfully
created miniature gardens, fostering a deep connection with nature. These small steps instil
big lessons in stewardship of natural resources and help students understand environmental
responsibilities.
Highlights of the event: -
Children enthusiastically participated in the discussion on our Planet Earth
Creativity and imagination was displayed by children in designing their miniature
gardens with the help of real plants and small objects such as hut, pebbles, fountain,
fence, etc.
Students understood the importance of water conservation and sustainable
gardening practices
The activity was successfully organized. Student’s enthusiasm and care for their miniature
gardens reflected their commitment to a greener future.

To engage children in a multi-sensory experience that stimulates their senses of sight, touch, smell, hear, and taste, an activity “Sensory Garden” had been organised for Pre Primarychildren on Friday, 12th April 2024, in the school premises.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ACTIVITY:
The sensory Garden offered children a fun and engaging learning experience that helps to stimulate their senses while promoting cognitive, social, and emotional development. This activity help to enhance the vocabulary of the students with new words like rough, smooth, soft, harsh, loud etc.

Red is one of the most eye -catching colour in the world. It is a bold and bright colour which attracts attention. After black and white the first colour which children see is the colour red. To introduce the primary colour red to the Pre School children, a Red colour day was celebrated on Friday,12th April 2024.
The important features of the day were-
All the children enjoyed playing the game of musical chairs on a red colour song. Children spontaneously identified red T-shirts of their uniform and came with splendid examples of items which are red in colour. The most exciting part for the children was to wear the ladybug headbands back home. On the whole this day fostered social development along enhancement of fine and large muscles.

A Cheerful “Welcome” helps pre-school children a positive start to their school journey. To make this journey excited, successful, and a happy experience a “Welcome Activity” (card making) was conducted on Friday, 5th April 2024 where students did finger printing with poster colours on the welcome card.
Highlights of the event-
- Students enjoyed the activity using their creative skills.
- They learnt to make a card and how to greet their friends and family members on their special days.
- The activity enhanced the creative skills and aesthetic sense of the students.
Through this activity, students not only expressed their creativity but also learned the importance of welcoming others. It also fostered a sense of inductivity andc kindness among the students and welcoming atmosphere in their classroom.

"Pre Primary is where curious minds begin their year-long journey. Welcome, little explorers, to a world of endless possibilities!" The pre-primary students were greeted by their class teacher with a small gift of sweets and a smile. They enjoyed welcome songs played on the interactive panel and then they were encouraged to take part in a special activity that symbolizes the beginning of the journey ahead.
With eager hands and bright smiles, each student had the opportunity to create their own photo frame with colourful handmade sheets, flowers, stickers, etc. The students developed fine motor skills and aesthetic sense while having fun throughout the first day of their new session. They will hang these frames at any place or wall of their choice, creating a colourful mosaic of dreams and aspirations, marking the start of a wonderful year filled with growth and laughter.

It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the children. They looked pretty in their graduation robes and caps. This celebration marks the journey of a child to a school in which; he/she will be spending ten long years facing ups and downs, experimenting and exploring new ideas and things, and shaping themselves into tomorrow's leaders.

‘Let the colours of Holi spread the message of love, peace and happiness.’
Holi is the festival of colours and is famous among the people of India. Holi includes playing and throwing splash of colours over each other, meeting friends and family and enjoying a feast of delicious delicacies prepared for the occasion. Holi marks the arrival of
summer after spring. It signifies the victory of good over evil.
To celebrate this festival, a Special Assembly was conducted by the students of Pre-School and Pre- Primary wherein a beautiful skit was performed on the story of Holika dahan which reiterated the significance of the festival and commemorate the victory of good over evil. It also taught the students to follow good conduct in life and believe in the virtue of being truthful and honest.
In a spectacular display of unity, students of Pre-School and Pre- Primary stole the limelight by showcasing vibrant Holi dances from different states, transforming the celebration into a colourful tapestry of Indian culture.
The assembly concluded by spreading a wonderful message to save our environment. Keeping the spirit of the festival intact, it was advised to use organic colours and avoid unnecessary wastage of water.

Engaging children in calligraphy activities can stimulate cognitive development by encouraging children to focus, concentrate and follow instruction. Children of Pre-Primary had a calligraphy activity ‘Pencil-Pals’ on Friday, 1st March 2024.
Highlights of the activity-
- This activity was conducted in the respective Pre-Primary classrooms.
- A sample sentence was written in each child’s notebook which they had to copy.
- Most of the children took care of the spacing between words.
In conclusion through calligraphy activity children developed important skills, involving precise hand movements and control, which will help children to improve their fine motor skills in future.

Trashion Show is a unique and innovative event that combines fashion, creativity and environmental consciousness. It is a fantastic way to introduce young children to the importance of recycling and environmental care through playful and creative activities. By making the learning experience fun and interactive “Trashion Show” was organized for Pre-Primary students where they turned trash into fashion.
Highlights of the Activity
- Students came up with different imaginative outfits from recycled materials like newspapers, cardboard, old magazine etc. and walked confidently on the ramp.
- The walk expressed the theme of the show, with each child embodying the spirit of their designed attire.
- The activity helped to enhance not only the creativity and presentation skills of the students but also helped them to realize the importance of recycling and reusing waste material available to them.
The effort and hard work of both the students and their parents was commendable .The event was a great learning experience for the children, and it was amazing to witness their talent, dedication and perseverance.

This Fun Day for Pre-School and Pre-Primary in collaboration with RockSport was a resounding success providing a safe & inclusive space for children to learn play and grow.
Highlights –
- The camp was duly supervised by instructors of RockSport and the school teachers.
- Adventure activities like tyre swing, Magical maze, commando net, Hopscotch, Burma Bridge, commando crawl was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children.
- Healthy and sumptuous meals were served to everyone.
- Magic Show was also enjoyed by all the children.
Through an array of engaging experiences, designed specifically for children, this event aimed to ignite the spark of curiosity, nurture social connections and pave the paths for a holistic development.

Spring is a season of growth, renewal, and new beginnings. To celebrate the spirit of spring and to appreciate the beauty of nature “Let's blossom in Spring” a vegetable printing activity was organized for Preschool children.
Major Attractions:
• Each child approached the activity with enthusiasm, and printed beautiful flower using vegetables and poster colors on an A4 size
sheet .
• Children built a connection with nature and used only crowns and leaves and did not waste any fruit and vegetable
.
“Let’s Blossom in Spring” activity was a blooming success, nurturing creativity and imagination. This activity fostered children's fine motor skills, and environmental awareness through hands-on participation in making floral designs using vegetables as stamps. Children thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

A Basant Panchami assembly for students was organized to celebrate the onset of spring and the festival of Basant Panchami. It is celebrated in reverence for the Hindu deity Goddess Saraswati, the epitome of intelligence and wisdom. Students came dressed in yellow attire, brightened up the whole environment, and brought yellow-coloured food.
Highlights of the Program:
- The celebration commenced with the enactment of Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for seeking knowledge and a prosperous life.
- Students were apprised with the significance of celebrating the festival and motivated to understand and respect their inheritance and culture.
- The spring of joy took over when students showcased their creativity and imagination through activities like Flower arrangement, Flowers vegetable printing, and kite flying.
- The assembly culminated with an enlightening message that we all have to work hard to gain knowledge.

Highlights of the event:
- Importance of plants were discussed by the teachers.
The things we get from plants were discussed through an interactive seesion with the students - Students went for nature walk and collected the fallen leaves, flowers, seeds, twigs, feathers etc.
- It strengthened the cognitive and fine motor skills of students and they enjoyed exploring the nature.
All the children were happy to paste the material in their scrab book which enhanced their creativity, fine motor skills, eye hand coordination and aesthetic sense.

Highlights Of Event:
- ‘Guess who am I’ activity was of great benefit to children especially for children that are in the foundation years for building their imagination and vocabulary. Students showcased their versatility with the help of the characters chosen.
- They were all smartly dressed up and took part with much enthusiasm.
- The students presented themselves by sharing information about the characters they depicted. Students were Dressed like Community helpers and expressed themselves freely.
- Children were judged on the basis of Props, Voice Modulation & Expressions, Confidence and Creativity.
The teachers were left enthralled with their endearing acts. The event concluded with the encouraging words of the teachers who appreciated the admirable performances of the students and the effort taken by their parents. It was a feast to the eyes to watch the little ones performing with such enthusiasm and confidence. The day ended on a positive note.

The primary objective of this activity was to enhance children’s knowledge about the different professions and encourage them to recognize the importance of cooperation and community support.

- A brief discussion about community helpers was given through a power point presentation.

- An introduction through a story of Jesus Christ was depicted by the students of Pre-Primary.
- A Dance presentation by students of Pre- School and Pre Primary.
- Students of Pre school and Pre primary did colouring in the composition of Merry Christmas.
- DIY Christmas Tree was made by the children of Pre Primary and an activity “ Santa calling” was held for the Pre school students who made a Santa toy.
- They also had a class party, in which they shared their favourite snacks with their friends.
The assembly was centred around the theme of joy, unity, and giving. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt thank-you message and a reminder of the importance of spreading love and joy during the festive season.

- Students made beautiful mittens. It helped them to become aware of the changing seasons. It connects their learning to the world around them and promotes a sense of time and continuity.
- As the children completed their mittens, a sense of achievement was palpable. Each child proudly showcased their creations. This contributed to the development of the children's self-esteem and confidence.
- It proved to be a valuable and enjoyable experience and created a memorable and engaging learning environment.
It made them understand the concept of the winter season, enhanced their eye hand coordination, and nurtured their artistic ability.

“LIGHT THE LAMP OF WISDOM DISPEL THE DARKNESS OF IGNORANCE”
Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated in various regions across the world. May the light of Deepawali remind us that from darkness there is knowledge, wisdom, and truth, from division to unity, from despair to hope. To make children understand the importance of Diwali an activity “Diya Decoration” has been planned on Monday, 6th November 2023 for Pre-Primary Students.
Highlights of the event: -
- Children made a beautiful earthen Diya by painting with acrylic colour and decorated it with different decorative material like mirrors, studs etc. which helped children to build their aesthetic sense.
- Students were explained about safety measures which must be taken while celebrating.
- The message of keeping our surroundings neat and clean this Diwali was given to children.
All the students actively participated in the activity and thoroughly enjoyed it.

- Each student created 2 means of transport on a pre decorated A3 sheet.

Our heritage serves as a reminder of our history. It is a national treasure as well as a symbol of the civilization's pride. In accordance with the thought of how one’s connection to its roots and culture affects one’s future and development, Nukkad Natak was organized for pre-primary students on the theme “Cultural Heritage”.
Highlights of the event-
- In a typical street play style, students moved in a circle clapping their hands before turning to the audience. They performed scenes that depicted the general attitude of people towards our heritage and how it is damaging our culture.
- The Activity offered an effective platform to display art, creativity, wittiness and conveyed a strong social message through a powerful Play/ Skit.
- Their crisp dialogues and gestures held everyone spellbound.
The students showcased the Nukkad Natak with a lot of enthusiasm & exuberance, and in the process not only became socially aware citizens but also imbibed the skills of compatibility & teamwork.

- Students made a composition with coloured papers based on the theme “ Things we see in the sky”.
- The students made 3 to 4 objects independently in a beautiful composition using techniques like Paper tearing & pasting, Paper crumpling, Paper folding, etc.

Pelicans are a genus of large water birds that make up the family Pelecanidae. Crafts are a great way for young children to strengthen hand muscles and improve coordination while becoming more confident. For this, an adorable Pelican Picnic Plate Craft was conducted on Friday, 6th October 2023 for Pre Primary Students.
Highlights of the event:
- Discussion on Pelican was done by the teachers.
- Children coloured with paint and brush in the paper plate.
- The paper plate was cut by the students independently.
- Students learned about the birds and enhanced their creative skills.

Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of traditions. Through their special love and care, they keep a family close at the heart and united. To honour their unconditional love, we celebrated Grandparents’ Day with abundance of respect and admiration.
Highlights of the event:-
- The function started with welcoming the grandparents followed by the lighting of the lamp and Ganesh Vandana.
- The exemplary performance of the students on various songs tied the entire show and left everyone spellbound with cheerful faces.
- Various games and activities were organized for the grandparents and they added a spark to the celebration with their robust participation.
- They also performed different cultural activities like singing songs and Bhajans, and some of them also shared their valuable thoughts about the importance of grandchildren in their lives.
- The Headmistress thanked every grandparent for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to children. Beautiful Tulsi saplings were presented to honour all the grandparents, as a token of love.
The success of the event was apparent in the cheerful smiles of the grandparents, who left with pleasant memories, loads of appreciation and heaps of blessings to the teachers, school and management.

A story telling activity on insects “Tales of wild critters” was held for Pre-Primary children on Thursday 14th& Friday 15th September 2023.

- The stories narrated by children also showcased different aspect of insect life.
- Various colourful and vibrant props were used by children to enhance their stories.

With the adventurous tales of ants, caterpillars, bees, spiders & grasshoppers, children developed a greater understanding of the natural world and their place within it.

Animal Mask Making activity is a fun activity that provides a
creative and educational platform for children to learn about
different animals while enhancing their artistic skills through mask
creation. To enhance eye hand coordination and inventive skills in
the students of pre School animal mask making activity “‘Zoo Mania”
was scheduled on Friday, 8th September, 2023. Students made
colourful animal masks using paper cut-outs and further decorated
them. This activity made students more familiar and compassionate
towards animals and also helped in enhancing their artistic skills.

To boost their creative side and to enhance aesthetic sense of children, Ant-Tastic Craft Activity was scheduled on Friday, 8th September 2023 for Pre Primary students. In this activity, children did magnificent craft activity with paper crumpling in a drawing of an ant.
It was a fun filled activity for children. They enjoyed it thoroughly. The activity helped students develop eye-hand coordination and improve their dexterity.

Teachers’ Day is celebrated on 5th September every year to honour the birth anniversary of
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a renowned educator and the second President of India. To
acknowledge and appreciate the significant role of teachers in shaping the future of children
and our nation, Teachers’ Day was celebrated at Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar on 4th
September, 2023 by Pre School and Pre Primary students.
Highlights of the event
• The assembly began by giving a heartfelt tribute to the great philosopher and a mentor
Dr. Radhakrishnan. A student of Pre Primary honoured him by dressing up like him. Few
students presented an introductory speech on him.
• Students showcased the spirit of this day through mesmerizing dance performances to
express their love and respect for their teachers.
• Students presented thoughtful cards and flowers as a token of appreciation to their
teachers as a symbol of gratitude.
• Art and Craft activity was organized for the students of Pre School and Pre Primary to
express their love and appreciation for their teachers and parents.

Janmashtami is one of the most joyous and widely celebrated festivals in India. It marks the birth of Lord Krishna, who is revered as the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The students of Pre School and Pre-Primary prepared a series of events to help understand the significance of the festival.
Highlights of the Events
- The hall was decorated with colourful decorations that symbolized the joy and enthusiasm associated with Janmashtami.
- The assembly began with an animated story of Janmashtami- the birth of lord Krishna
- The students of Pre-Primary presented a short Leela from the life of lord Krishna where Krishna lifts the Govardhan parvat on his little finger to save the villagers from intense rains, followed by a presentation dance by the students of Pre- Primary and Pre School students.
The Assembly was enjoyed by all the students and were given the message to integrate lord Krishna’s teachings in their lives so that they get inspired by his wisdom to do good and make the world a better place .

Highlights of the Event
- The significance of the festival and the manner in which it is celebrated were discussed with the children.
- Students assembled the cut-outs in the class and decorated the Rakhi's using different materials like silken thread, ribbon, stars, Bindi's, foam stickers, etc.
- They displayed their talents and made various colourful Rakhi's that exhibited their originality and creative little minds.
- It enhanced their aesthetic sense, and helped the children relate it to their own culture and traditions.
- Amazing and magnificent presentations of their creative abilities enthralled the judges and were highly appreciated by them.

“The drop of rain always brings a change”
Monsoon the beautiful season of the year is a gift of God to mankind. It revives our souls and fills the surroundings with the beauty of fresh greenery. To celebrate the monsoon season and to boost social skills amongst students a “Pool Party” was organized where they enjoyed the rain dance with music and a lot of splashing in the pool.
Highlights of the event-
- Each class of Pre School and Pre Primary were alloted time at their respective venues.
- Pre school students made a beautiful ‘Lei ‘ garland with flowers cutouts and straws.
- Students of Pre Primary created a beautiful hand puppet of Snail which they were excited to take home wearing on their hand.
- All the students were seen in colourful swim suits and tapping their feet to the famous rain songs and recited rhymes of the rainy day.
The activity helped children to understand the importance of rain, they learnt to express their happiness by using their creative skills.
Students had great fun, tapping their little hands and feet, bubbling and splashing water all around. The day was full of enthusiasm and brought about a lot of happiness amongst students.

Sensory play is a lot of fun. It focuses on activities that engage the child’s senses
and enhance their language and motor skills. It also helps with cognitive growth and
fosters social interaction.
Highlights of the Event:
1) Children were happy to create a sensory bottle made with small toys, glitters,
beads, glycerin/oil, and water.
2) Children found pleasure to shaking the bottle back and forth and watched with
amazement the glitter, other items swirl around and slowly fall to the bottom.
It generated a variety of emotions and stimulated essential areas of the
brain. It created a visual sensory experience for the students and very
useful tool for promoting a sense of wonder among the students.
This activity brought more fun, smiles, and happiness to the children. It also
helped students to develop eye-hand coordination, confidence, and language
development.

Children always find rhymes enticing. RIMJHIM – Rhyme recitation activity was held for Pre School children. The theme of the activity was “Rainy Season”.

- Vibrant and colourful props were used for rhyme recitation.
The Pre Schoolers recited rhymes with zest which brought out their creative side, imagination, boosted their confidence, and enhanced oral expressions.

The fun activity- “Windsocks Making” was organized for Pre-school students
with the aim of introducing them to the basic concept of the direction of wind
and how it affects our day to day activities..
Highlights of the event:
Students made beautiful windsocks by pasting long colourful strips on A4 size pastel
sheet and rolled it in a cylindrical shape, with the help of their teacher.
They decorated the windsocks by pasting star stickers and cut out of a cloud
All the students went to the playground along with their teachers to sway their
windsocks.
This activity instilled scientific curiosity and creativity amongst students.The hands on
approach, allowed them to understand the natural phenomenon. All the children enjoyed the
activity and learnt about the direction of wind through this activity.

What a fantastic thing a pipette is! cheap, plentiful, and so simple to use.
Pipettes develop numerous skills in young children. They are particularly fantastic
for fine motor skills. By their design, they encourage students to squeeze them
using a pincer grip, just the same grip that they use to hold pens and pencils. By
injecting colour and squirting it into objects and items, students learnt to explore
colourful patterns.
To encourage students to experiment with colours and explore new designs,
“Magical Colours” a Pipette Activity was organized for our pre-primary students on
Friday,11th August 2023.
The children enjoyed the activity. They giggled and laughed as they experimented
with squeezing and releasing the pipette to make the drops dance around. They
watched in awe as the drops fell or rose, showing a genuine sense of wonder and
curiosity.
Highlights:
• Students used a paintbrush and watercolours.
• Students will wet their sheets with brush and water.
• Using a pipette, they dropped colours on the wet sheet to form
new patterns and various shades.
• The primary purpose of conducting such activities was to allow the
young explorers to explore the spectrum.

Oral skills are speech enhancers that are used to produce clear sentences that are intelligible to an audience. Keeping this in mind an activity” MELODY MAKERS- CREATE YOUR OWN JINGLE” was organized for Pre-Primary students where students made their own jingle on different products.
Highlights of Event:
- Students expressed their creativity in different ads they designed for product like Toothpaste, Health Drinks, Sunglasses etc.
- Students participated with a lot of enthusiasm. The Activity helped the students enhance their expressions, voice modulation and dialogue delivery.
- Amazing, eye catching and beautiful props were used to enact their advertisement.
The Participants left no stone unturned to advertise their Product in the most innovative & effective manner. Creating a sensation and giving a tough time to the judges.

Highlights of the Activity
To enable children to develop their senses and know their sense organs an activity “I can sense everything” was organized for Pre School students.
• Teachers had explained the concept of senses and had an interactive session followed by reciting a rhyme “My five senses”
• Students pasted cutouts of sense organs in their scrap book.
• The students were very excited to explore the five senses that were displayed at the quadrangle. They were able to understand the concept well as they smelled flowers, perfume, incense sticks, etc. They tasted salty snacks, sugary drinks and snacks as well as explored the sense of touch by touching various surfaces and objects as they distinguished between rough, smooth, hard, soft etc. The students developed their sense of sight by exploring trees, sky, sun etc by using binoculars. Musical instruments were played by the students to hear different sounds.
• The activity was very interesting. Students were engaged to explore, feel, touch smell and hear various objects and their curious minds were satiated. They also were thrilled to drink the cool and tasty lemonade.

Clay modelling is a great way to develop a child’s fine motor skills, imagination and spark creativity. An Activity onclay modelling was conducted for Pre-Primary students, wherein students participated enthusiastically. Students presented beautiful clay models on the theme “The Growing Me”
The main objective of the activity was to stimulate their imagination and enable to give a better shape to their creativity. This outstanding sensory activity enhanced dexterity, fine motor skills and helped to boost the self-confidence of the students.
Students really enjoyed the activity, they pounded, squeezed, rolled and blended the clay to make some beautiful and amazing models portraying themselves which brought out their creativity and imagination.

Ice cream cone activity is a great form of craft that is focused on the process of doing, rather than the final result. It is a fun activity that allows young children to use their creativity and imagination as they choose various decorative materials of their own choice to decorate the scoop. To enhance fine motor skills and inventive skills in the students of Pre School ‘Beat The Heat’ activity was scheduled on Friday, 7 July, 2023. Children made colourful ice cream cone and topping using pastel sheet and cotton. It was a fun filled activity for children to become more familiar with summer season. The students enjoyed the activity thoroughly.

Stories give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of our physical world. It’s not only boosts the language skills but expands the imagination and improves listening skills of the young students. Keeping this in mind, an activity “My Story - The Flip Book” was conducted for pre-primary students where they pasted the pictures of their favourite story in a sequence on the photo accordion and comprehended it.
Highlights of the event-
- Students came up with different stories and narrated the same with zeal and enthusiasm.
- This tactile and visual experience kept them entertained and encouraged active participation.
It was an interactive activity where the young souls were encouraged for creative thinking. Also, the activity helped students develop eye-hand coordination and improve their dexterity.
Mother’s Day Celebration
“A mother’s love is instinctual, unconditional, and forever”.
Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood.
Of all the bonds we share during our lifetime, the most special one is the one
that we have with our mothers! A mother selflessly fulfils all our desires and cares for us.
‘Mother’s Day’, a day specially dedicated to cherishing motherhood was
celebrated with great elation on Friday,12th May 2023, a series of activities
was organized for Preschoolers to honour the most sacrificing and loving souls.
The students decorated a paper bag for their wonderful mothers, so as to make
them feel special and loved. And what better gifts for them than the ones
prepared by their budding artists with their own hands!

The students shared their feelings about their mother and recited beautiful
rhymes to strengthen the mother-child relationship. It was indeed a great
experience and a perfect blend of emotions and feelings.
All in all, the day that recognizes the essence of a mother was celebrated in
high spirits and merriment.
It was an enjoyable and memorable day for each and every child which left an
indubitable mark on the innocent heart.

To enhance the beauty of expression, thoughts and feelings amongst children an activity: ‘Mom’s Marvellous Celebration’ was organized for the students of Pre Primary on 8th May 2023 on the occasion of mother’s day which cherishes the beautiful bond between a child and the mother.
Highlights of the Event:
- Children of Pre Primary made a beautiful and memorable gift : Fridge Magnet for their mothers.
- A video presentation , to inculcate the feeling of love and care towards mothers was presented.
- Children’s creative and aesthetic skills were escalated.
- Students also spoke few lines about their mother to express love and gratitude.

The health of the children is a reflection of the future. A healthy hygiene routine keeps children clean, healthy and makes them feel good about themselves. To generate awareness about good personal hygiene , dental care and to teach them healthy habits, preschool children participated in an activity” My Healthy Teeth”.
Attractions of the event-
- The importance of Dental care was emphasized through a story Mr Tooth Brush
- Proper teeth brushing and dental care techniques were displayed on a model of dentures.
- Children did picture pasting of healthy and unhealthy food items on a happy and an unhappy tooth cut-outs in their scrapbook.

Recitation is an art and can be a lot of fun. Rhyme recitation is a fun and
engaging way to teach children about the importance of health and hygiene. It
can help them learn about personal care, cleanliness, and healthy habits in an
interactive and memorable way. ‘CLEAN & SHEEN’ a rhyme recitation activity
was organized on Wednesday, 3rd May and Thursday 4th May 2023.
Children enjoyed the beauty of expressions, thoughts, feelings, and rhythm.
Considering all these facts students of pre-primary recited beautiful rhymes
sensitizing about the importance of personal hygiene with great zeal and
enthusiasm.
Highlights:
• Students used beautiful and colourful props.
• They recited various rhymes related to the theme health and hygiene.
• They were appreciated and applauded for their performance.

Report: Senses Week
The five senses are the tools our bodies use to gather information around us. Children are naturally fascinated with what they see, explore by touching, get attracted to lilting music, curious about different smells and relish things which give them delight. To enhance the perceptions of Pre-Primary students a “Senses week” was organized from Monday,24thApril -Monday 1st May 2023.
The week was divided as follows; -
- Sense of sight- All the students looked into mirrors to read their features and observe various emotions and expressions like laughter, sorrow, anger or crying. Later they pasted a cut-out of an eye in their scrap books.
- Sense of hearing- A guessing game was played in the classes to enable the students to identify various sounds in the environment. The highlight of the day was making of a popsicle harmonica by students.
- Sense of Touch- A tactile activity to feel different textures -hard, soft, smooth, brittle etc with cotton, glitter sheet, popsicle, buttons pom-poms and pasted in the scrap books. With sense of touch students were also guided and made aware between “good touch and bad touch”.
- Sense of smell- Students were blindfolded to detect scents of various things like talcum powder, perfume, coffee, curry leaves medicines, tooth paste etc by smelling with their nose. Incense sticks and rose flowers were also pasted in the scrap books.
- Sense of taste- Students were made to identify different taste buds like sweet, salty, sour and bitter by pasting pictures of four tastes on cut out of a tongue. To further enhance the different tastes students also brought a sweet and savoury item in their lunch box. The day completed with a refreshing lemonade relished by all students.
On the whole the senses week helped the students to know more about their body parts while also acquiring vocabulary to describe how things look, hear, taste, feel or smell. The students also learnt to take care of their senses by protecting their body parts.

Colour Day gives us the opportunity to take our children into a magical world where colours come alive. Each colour is so unique and special in making the world we live in so, beautiful. The significance of Blue Day was reiterated through an activity “Let’s Find Out The Colour of The Ocean” held on Tuesday, 25th April 2023 for Pre Schoolers.
Highlights of the event:
- Children were introduced with Blue colour using objects and pictures.
- Children sang and recited a rhyme on Blue Colour.
- Children did cotton dabbing to make Blue ocean made Blue Shark to explore the under water world.
The activity invigorated the spirit of joyful learning. All the children enjoyed the activity and learnt about Primary Colour - Blue.

To commemorate our benevolent ‘Mother Earth’, Earth Day was celebrated on Friday, 21st April 2023. An array of activities were organized with an aim to instigate the students to save, love and respect Mother Nature with their heart and soul.
Highlights of the Event:
- A video presentation, to inculcate the feeling of love and care towards our Planet Earth.
- Attractive posters were made by the Pre Primary students with a message to preserve and conserve Mother Earth using the concept of 3R’s – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
- Pre School students made a model of Happy Earth.
Students really enjoyed the activity, which brought out their creativity, imagination and fondness for the planets.

Yellow Colour Day” was celebrated on Wednesday 19th April, 2023 with great zeal. It was a
fun-filled day with innocent faces shining and reflecting brightness, joy and happiness.
Highlights of the Event:
All Pre Schoolers wore yellow colour attires.
The confident little toddlers showed the yellow objects with ease.
Model of the Sun was made with clay and the importance of the Sun was discussed.
They did paper crumpling activity on the given sunflower cutout
Yellow Colour Day was a wonderful learning experience for the Pre Schoolers which
enhanced their visual discrimination and strengthen the cognitive development.

Teaching the students the importance of family and home at a young age is very important. To instill confidence and develop positive relationships with each other an Activity “My Awesome Abode" was organised on the theme, ‘All about me’ where students made a beautiful house.
Highlights of the event:-
- Students learnt about the family values, love and importance of living together.
- They were guided to make a house with the help of ice cream sticks, Pastel sheets and decorative material like stickers, sequins and glitters etc.
- They were enthusiastic to make something for themselves and enjoyed the song. -“Welcome to my home & My family and me”.
The activity helped in enhancing their eye hand coordination, creativity, and aesthetic skills.

“Color is a power which directly influences the soul.” ...
"Red" is associated with joy, strength, leadership, and determination. Preschool children participated in an activity “Red Red Everywhere” to introduce the colour Red.
Attractions of the day:
To introduce the children with primary colour “Red” all the teachers and students came in Red colored clothes.
The colour Red was introduced through pictures and real objects, and was further enhanced with a rhyme on colour Red.
A beautiful headgear was created by paper tearing and pasting in the cut-out of an Apple.
A Treasure hunt game was played, and children were motivated to find Red colored objects in the environment.
“RED RED EVERYWHERE” was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours and therefore reinforcing their cognitive skills. Children thoroughly enjoyed the activity.

A Cheerful ‘Welcome” helps PRE SCHOOL children for a positive start to their school journey. To make this journey exciting, successful and a happy experience, BBPS, Brij Vihar organized a “WELCOME ACTIVITY- My First step” on Wednesday, 5th April,2023 for Roll nos.1 to 10 and on Monday, 10th April, 2023 for Roll no 11 onwards. for the tiny tots who have taken their first step to school.
Each and every teacher affectionately welcomed the new comers by holding their hands and accompanied them to their classroom with utmost love and care. It was an amazing experience to see the lovely smiling faces. Children arrived to school with a bag of mixed emotions. To make children comfortable and to make their first day memorable teachers planned out lots of welcome activities to keep them engaged and happy. Welcome activity not only helped children remove first day jitters and apprehensions of being in a completely new environment but also contributed in developing a strong bond with teachers. Children enjoyed their “Welcome Hand Impression Activity”, where they printed their hand like a flower on the pot created by the teacher with coloured paper. A welcome rhyme was also sung by the class teachers.
Light, Camera, Action! Students enjoyed the photo session with the photo frame to mark their First Day of Pre School memorable.
Children also enjoyed music and dance. All the activities rejuvenated the entire environment and made the students comfortable. The students celebrated their first day of school with great enthusiasm. In all, it was a day full of happiness and laughter all around.

“A sweet welcome helps children for a positive start to their school journey”
To cheer up the Pre Primary children back to school and to create a sweet beginning , a welcome activity “Kuch meetha ho jaye” was held on Monday 3rd April 2023. All the children were excited and eager to decorate their muffins in the best possible way.
Highlights of the event-
- Children brought muffins of their choice like chocolate or vanilla flavour.
- Children displayed their aesthetic skills to decorate the muffins with chocolate\Nutella\jam etc as per their taste buds.
- Their creativity was evident towards the end when the muffins were decorated with colourful sprinklers and silver edible balls.
This sweet welcome activity brought smiles and happiness amongst the children . It not only spread cheer but also encouraged the value of sharing their decorated muffins with each other.
