The students of classes VI-VIII attended an interesting session on the nutritious values of Amla. They learnt about numerous benefits of Amla and its uses. They understood the importance of amla and its effects on health and learned about its high vitamin C content that enhances immune cell function, helping the body fight infections & illnesses. They came to know how it also supports Heart Health. They learnt about nutrients in Indian gooseberries. They were shown presentation on benefits of amla for keeping them fit and strong.

A self-defense training session for girls in classes VI to VIII was conducted during school hours on November 4, 2024. This initiative, led by officials from the UP Police, aimed to empower young girls by equipping them with essential self-defense techniques while fostering awareness of personal safety. Participants engaged in practical exercises that enhanced their confidence and safety awareness, receiving expert guidance and support from the police officials throughout the session. In addition, important emergency contact information was shared to ensure the girls are aware of available resources for their safety.

Today, Class VII students enthusiastically participated in a Plantation Drive held on the school campus. The event aimed to foster environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among students. As part of the activity, each student planted a sapling in designated areas around the school grounds.
The event began with a brief introduction on the importance of trees and their role in maintaining ecological balance. Students were then guided by their teachers in planting various saplings, including flowering plants and fruit-bearing trees. With trowels and watering cans in hand, the students displayed great enthusiasm and teamwork.
After planting the saplings, the students collectively pledged to care for the plants by watering them regularly and ensuring their healthy growth. This drive not only highlighted the importance of afforestation but also reinforced the idea that small actions can lead to a significant positive impact on the environment.

The performers of the play were chiefly children and young adults from a tribal village in Ghasiara West Bengalinhabited by people from the Munda tribe. The play was performed in Hindi and Mundari language. The performance was accompanied by live music using typical tribal musical instruments like dhol, maadol, bamboo flute etc.
The play focused on the human activities which are responsible for the destruction of the forests. The play depicted the efforts made by Munda tribe to protect their forest for their survival.

Report on Educational Excursion
As part of our school's efforts to provide hands-on learning experiences, The middle department of the school organized an educational excursion to National craft museum, National war memorial and Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat on 12th September 2024. The trip aimed to provide students a practical learning experience outside the classroom. The educational excursion was a resounding success, achieving its objectives and providing a valuable learning experience for our students.
Report on Poster-Making Activity: "Say No to Tobacco"
On 9th September 2024, a poster-making activity was conducted for students of Classes 6 to 8 during the zero period. This one-hour activity focused on the theme "Say No to Tobacco," aiming to raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco use and to encourage healthy, tobacco-free lifestyles.
Each student was required to create a poster on an A4-size sheet, using materials they brought themselves. The activity was designed to combine creative expression with critical thinking, allowing students to visually represent the dangers of tobacco consumption in an engaging and informative manner.

The middle department on 22nd July 2024 organized a bagless day for the students of class VI-VIII. The idea of bagless days at school is a landmark step towards easing the burden of the bag for the students, but more importantly to inculcate in them a feeling of love for going to school every day. Various activities, related to life skills and vocations, were planned and organized for the students which not only made their experience fun-filled but also made them learn different basic yet useful things like Stitching, Gift wrapping, cooking without fire, dining etiquettes, art of folding clothes, personality development and decision making etc.
The activities created a space for channelizing the energy of students by providing them adequate opportunity to express themselves fully in an all-inclusive, equitable environment.

A brief description of the Activity:
An activity was organised to make children aware of the benefits of healthy millets. They came to know about the multi benefits of millets. They understood that millet is rich in niacin, which is important for healthy skin and organ function. It also has beta-carotene, especially the dark-coloured grains, which converts to vitamin A, helps our body fight free radicals and support our immune system.
The session was engrossing and the students participated in it actively. They gathered new ideas about millets and understood its importance.

Healthy Food Refreshers
An online interactive session was organised for the students of class VIII on the foods that make us happy. They leant that a healthy diet promotes a healthy gut, which communicates with the brain. Microbes in the gut produce neurotransmitters like serotonin which regulates our mood and emotions. They learnt about foods that increase serotonin levels naturally. They learnt the importance of eggs, chicken fish, dairy, green leafy vegetables, pulses, nuts, seeds, pineapple etc in boosting our mood and making us happy.

An online session on ‘Guess the Watermelon’ was organized for the students of class VIII. The activity began with a brief explanation of its concept. Students were instructed to imagine a scenario involving a watermelon and to brainstorm a list of verbs that could describe actions related to the watermelon. After brainstorming, students were asked with associating action words associated with the watermelon. They were encouraged to incorporate as many verbs from their list as possible into the given narratives.
The activity proved to be a fun and an engaging way for students to explore the role of verbs in storytelling. By centering their narratives around a common theme, students were able to showcase their creativity while practicing essential language skills.

Our school has organised a club activity on Monday, 18 th December, 2023 from 8.30 to 9.40am. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were given an introduction on the topic, which gave them a comprehensive idea about Substance Abuse. Students understood the importance of sayingno to drugs. Students made posters and expressed their views and opinion on Substance Abuse. Students also explained the message they wanted to convey through their posters.
Health and Wellness Club – Swirl Smoothies: As a part of this activity students made healthy smoothies using natural ingredients. Students were told the importance of healthy drinks and the recipes of the drinks were discussed along with its advantages. They learnt the importance of healthy ingredients. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Interact Club – Ms. Jyoti Rastogi from Times Group was invited for this session. Through this activity students learnt to work on waste paper. They used their creativity and prepared paper bags using waste paper. Through this activity they have learned how to conserve environment.
Literary and Creative Skills Club –An activity named ‘Flash Fiction’ was organised for the student, to enhance their writing skills and help them to challenge the challenges with the broad light in them in which they enjoy the aesthetic beauty of life in the midst of science and technology. The students were divided into groups of six students in each group. Each group was
provided with a prompt to frame a complete story with a theme while enacting the same. The activity helped the students to enhance their critical thinking, reasoning as well as communication skills. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Nature Club – Students, using their creativity, made and decorated Bird Houses. They also presented their views on conservation of bird species.
Scientific Skills Club – A mandala is a symbol of the universe in its ideal form, and its creation signifies the transformation of a universe of suffering into one of joy. It can also be used as an aid to meditation, helping the meditator to envision how to achieve the perfect self. Painting mandalas enhanced the cognitive abilities of children. It also helped in expanding
their knowledge revolving around various geometric shapes and patterns.
Theatre Club – As a part of this activity ‘Prop-Up’ Students presented any form of act- role play, standup comedy, famous dialogues of any character using relevant props. This helped them enhance their acting and theatrical skills.
Teen consumer Club – My Business My Logo activity aimed to educate students about the significance of creating attractive and catchy logos for brands. The presentation component improved students creative thinking and presenting skills. The activity successfully engaged students in the world of advertising and brand promotion, making it a valuable learning
experience.
Tinker Club – In this activity students made innovative circuit designs with the help of breadboard, battery, connecting wires and LED etc. Through this activity they were able to learn about computational thinking.

AEP Club – Students were given an introduction on Right of Teenagers, which made them aware of their rights and their importance. Students were divided into several groups. Each group consisted of 3-4 students. Members of each group prepared a wall magazine using the newspaper and magazine’s clippings related to child abuse, drug abuse and other problems related to teenagers. They also discussed about the teenage issues and understood the importance of speaking up for their rights.
Health and Wellness Club – Healthy Delights: As a part of this activity students made healthy snacks using vegetables and sprouts. Students were told the importance of healthy snacking. They understood the benefits of healthy snacks comprising of fibre and protein. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Interact Club – Best out of E-waste: In this activity students learnt how to make various decorative things by using e- wastes like- CDs, Bulb, LED Lights, and wires. Through this activity they learnt to recycle and re-use the e-waste. They learnt designing and ways to use
their creativity constructively.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – As a part of this activity, ‘My Role Model’ students got a platform to showcase their skills, analyze, evaluate, and uncover their aptitude.Each child chose his/her favourite personality. The students spoke a few lines describing the character while enacting like his/her role model. The activity helped the students emancipate reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaborative abilities. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Nature Club –Students, using their creativity, made Wall Magazines focusing on environmental challenges and the suggestions to solve them and gave a presentation on their work.
Scientific Skills Club – In Tangram fun students performed various hands on and developed their critical skill. Students learnt and understood things from the perspective of Geometry. Tangram Stem Activity enabled children to learn about a range of themes such as colour, shape, pattern, and size. It also helped young children develop an incredibly early understanding of Geometry and Engineering.
Theatre Club – As a part of this activity ‘Rasbahar’, students were shown a presentation on different emotions. Thereafter the students enacted according to the emotions shown to them. This helped students to present confidently, use different parts of the stage effectively and overcome their stage fear.

Students also participated in the activity 'Bhuli Yaadein-Ramp Walk' , they came dressed up and spoke about veteran dignitaries to motivate others. Our school has organised a club activity on Monday, 9 th October 2023, from 12.55 to 2.00 pm. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students ready for future.All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were shown a Power Point Presentation giving emphasis on Time Management, which helped them make better use of the time they had for studies and other activities. Students were divided into groups of 2-3 members. Each group was asked to make a list of activities through which they wasted time. Thereafter each group gave a small presentation on how to manage time effectively.
Health and Wellness Club –Dr. Anupama Kukreja BHMS, MD (Homeopathy) was invited as a resource person to conduct a session on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the students. She is a Homeopathic Physician practising since 2009 at Heal and Cure Homeopathic Clinic.Students learnt about the anger and stress management techniques to cope up with stress and anxiety that they face in their daily life. Students interacted with the resource person and shared their views on the topic. The session was very engrossing and the students participated enthusiastically in the session.
Interact Club – Care for caregivers: As a part of this activity students were first introduced to the concept of caregiving to sensitize them towards their carer. Thereafter students prepared posters, wrote poems to express their love and gratitude towards their career. The objective of this activity was to raise awareness about caregivers' roles, responsibilities, and well-being while equipping students with the knowledge and tools to support caregivers within their families and communities.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – The Club Activity ‘Dust Jacket’ was organized for the students. Each participant designed a book jacket using ecofriendly and renewable material. The participants also spoke on why their book jacket was appropriate for the story and the thought process behind its creation. The participants were given 30 minutes for preparation and 35 minutes for designing their book jackets. Each participant displayed creativity and skill in their artwork, bringing their own understanding of the story to life with their illustrated covers.
Nature Club – An activity named Self Contemplation was organised for the students to sensitize them towards the tribal culture. As a part of this activity students showcased our tribal culture and tradition by getting dressed up like them and also showed their creativity by making different 3D tribal musical instruments and tribal jewellery.
Scientific Skills Club – Students performed various hands-on like pendulum painting, toothpick bridge, evaporation art etc. to develop their critical skills. STEAM ART challenges students to think outside the box and allows them the freedom to explore different designs and ideas that no one has thought about before. Allowing creativity and imagination to flow freely can lead to improving a child’s problem-solving skills as they learn how to interpret information and voice their ideas and opinions in a creative and confident way.
Theatre Club – Mr. Bhaavesh Suryakant from Hindustan Times Educational Department - PACE was invited for this session. A small workshop on Stage Management was conducted for the students. After the workshop students presented their theatrical skills in form of mimicry, voice modulation, acting, standup comedy etc. This helped students to present confidently, use different parts of the stage effectively and overcome their stage fear.
Teen consumer Club – The Peek at Packaging activity was conducted for the students. The main aim of the activity was to educate students about the significance of eco-friendly packaging materials and inculcate creative thinking about sustainable packaging solutions. Students actively participated in the activity and gained valuable insights into the importance
of eco-friendly packaging.
Tinker Club – In this session students made LED lights using breadboard, battery, connecting wires and LED. Through this activity they were able to learn about Arduino breadboards, series and parallel circuits.

Ms. Tandon shared practical tips and methods that can be applied in daily study routines, ensuring effective preparation for exams.
In conclusion, the "Boost Your Memory and Concentration" workshop led by Ms. Deepanshi Tandon was a resounding success. It equipped students with valuable tools and knowledge to enhance their cognitive abilities and excel in their studies, especially during the demanding periods of examination.

Teachers’ Day is observed on 5th September. This day is also the birthday of the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This day is celebrated in various ways in various educational institutions across the country. Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar also celebrated Teachers’ Day with zeal and enthusiasm this year.
The entire event took place in the MP Hall of the school. The venue was decorated with several display boards and banners that were prepared by the students themselves. The students from class VI to VIII participated in the programme. The formal programme started at 7.45 am with the prayer song and welcome speech by the anchors and then it followed a series of cultural presentation that included poem recitation, dance performance, song presentation and skit etc. The dance performance by the students of the school in honour of their teachers was really amazing and it revealed their inner talent. The melodious song sung by the children wove the threads of the event more closely. The presentation of the skit and poem recitation by the students also deserved a special accolade.
The programme was conducted under the tutelage of the Principal Madam of the school. She also delivered a befitting speech on the significance of Teachers’ Day. The programme ended at 08.20 am with vote of thanks.

Children showcased zealous participation and presented "Jingles" on positive approach .The melodious songs pulled the heartstrings of the audience. A quiz for the audience was also organized on the given theme after every presentation. Students of class VII presented "masquerade show" in which they dressed up as their chosen characters. They spoke about the famous personalities who were able to set an example of positivity, enthusiasm and optimism. Music binds our soul, heart and emotions. Students of class VIII recited poems based on positive approach to awaken the spirit and enlighten our heart.

The students participated in different activities like drawing mathematical patterns in Optical illusions, paintings based on traditional art forms of India such as Gond, Madhubani, Warli, and Kalighat and also performed dance based on the prescribed theme i.e Striving for Excellence. Class VII Students participated in the activity 'Mirage’ wherein they drew optical illusions using mathematical patterns. Students of class VIII presented their creative and artistic skills in the activity 'Creative Hand’ through traditional Paintings. On the other side, grades VI-VIII participated in the group dance 'Peppy- Poppers’ to hone their theatrical and presentation talents. Students of different houses performed lively dance on peppy music according to the assigned topics. Overall, it was a brilliant performance. After each presentation, the audience was given a quiz based on the assigned topics.

Students took part in various activities to discover and instil the value of hard work. Students of class VI participated in an activity “Charitrankan” wherein they portrayed different characters allotted to them according to the topics. They all participated enthusiastically in the activity. Class VII students participated in the "Sur Sangam" a musical show. Students thoroughly enjoyed the enthralling performances. They presented a variety of songs related to the given theme. On the other hand, grades VI-VIII participated in the activity " Puppeteers" to hone their theatrical and presentation talents. Students of different houses prepared and presented the activity according to the assigned topics. Overall, it was a brilliant performance. After each presentation, the audience was given a quiz based on the assigned topics. This exercise helped students to develop their dedication, determination and focus. The real wealth of an individual is hard work as hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

Law is not just a thing to obey for oneself but helps in making a peaceful society. To awaken the awareness about the established norms/rules and regulations within the students, the school organized Inter-House competition for the students of Grades VI-VIII. The students participated in different activities to learn the importance of being a responsible and law-abiding citizen. They showed their zealous participation and played roles in different enactments in the activity “NAATYA” to showcase, why obeying rules is required from each one of us. Students also showcased a digital wall paper on “CYBER BULLYING” and gave presentation in the classrooms. Students prepared 3D models of Indian Monuments too with the help of clay in the activity “PLAY-DOH-FUN”. Through these activities, students not only learnt about the glory of our nation but also expressed patriotism.

CLUB ACTIVITY

Our school has organised a club activity on Tuesday, 11th October 2022, from 10.50 to 11.25 am. Interesting activities were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students were given an introduction on the topic of Anger Management which, is effective in helping them to regulate their behaviour and deal with their feelings of anger when they surface. It also lowers stress, and leads to career success.
It was an individual activity where each child was given a situation which makes them angry and was asked to jot down the possible ways that would help them to overcome the situation without getting angry. Each child presented his/ her views/ opinions on the situation. They were guided by the teacher and other students also gave valuable suggestions that can help them control anger in an effective manner.
Health and Wellness Club – In this activity, students made healthy immunity booster drinks and snacks by using different ingredients like fruits, vegetables, dry fruits and medicinal herbs etc. Through this activity they learnt about the medicinal properties of various herbs and plants. Students participated enthusiastically in the activity.
Interact Club – In this activity students had prepared “A talk show” in groups and presented the same in class on the day of activity. Theme of the Activity was Social injustice. Through this activity they have learned how to raise their voice against social injustice. They also learnt to visualize situations and gave expressions to their thoughts. This was a group activity and all students participated very enthusiastically.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – Students created puppets in the class and presented a puppet show. The activity was done in groups and each team presented for about 1.5 minutes. The activity aided in presenting a sensitive topic like ‘Gender Stereotypes’ prevalent in society by showcasing their creative sides as well as enhancing their fluency while presenting the show.
Nature Club – In this activity students presented themselves as members of a tribe and talked about their lifestyle, art forms, language and culture. Through this activity they learnt about different tribes and their lifestyles, their culture and how it influences our life. It also helped them to develop respect and gratitude for the tribes and their culture.
Scientific Skills Club – In this activity students prepared paper spinners, boomerang and Balloon cars. Through this activity they learnt the concept of motion behind the Balloon Cars, Boomerang and Paper Spinners and also understood the principles of change in air pressure, flow and force.
Theatre Club – Students were allotted different emotions/gestures, which they presented with expression and voice modulations. Through this activity they were able to gain confidence and learnt how to overcome their stage fear. Students were able to strengthen their skills in acting, dialogue delivery, voice modulation, effective expressions etc.
Teen consumer Club – Students prepared pamphlets/brochures to represent various issues related to E-commerce. This activity gave them a creative understating towards the pros and cons of online trading. It developed their aesthetic learning and a better understanding of the consumer rights and duties.
Tinker Club – As a part of this activity students were able to recognize the Latest and Future Issues and Challenges in Innovation. This activity helped to expose the student with State-of-The-Art Perspectives, Ideas, Concepts, And Solutions Related to The Design and Execution of Innovation Driven Projects Using Design Thinking Principles.

On 26th April 2024,The Atal Tinkering Lab of Bal Bharati Public School Brij Vihar celebrated World Intellectual Day. Students of classes 6 to 8 attended the online session.

1. Students of class VI made an environmental family tiara and spoke about the benefits nature is providing.

Our school has organised a club activity on Monday, 18 th December, 2023 from 8.30 to 9.40am. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were given an introduction on the topic, which gave them a comprehensive idea about Substance Abuse. Students understood the importance of sayingno to drugs. Students made posters and expressed their views and opinion on Substance Abuse. Students also explained the message they wanted to convey through their posters.
Health and Wellness Club – Swirl Smoothies: As a part of this activity students made healthy smoothies using natural ingredients. Students were told the importance of healthy drinks and the recipes of the drinks were discussed along with its advantages. They learnt the importance of healthy ingredients. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Interact Club – Ms. Jyoti Rastogi from Times Group was invited for this session. Through this activity students learnt to work on waste paper. They used their creativity and prepared paper bags using waste paper. Through this activity they have learned how to conserve environment.
Literary and Creative Skills Club –An activity named ‘Flash Fiction’ was organised for the student, to enhance their writing skills and help them to challenge the challenges with the broad light in them in which they enjoy the aesthetic beauty of life in the midst of science and technology. The students were divided into groups of six students in each group. Each group was
provided with a prompt to frame a complete story with a theme while enacting the same. The activity helped the students to enhance their critical thinking, reasoning as well as communication skills. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Nature Club – Students, using their creativity, made and decorated Bird Houses. They also presented their views on conservation of bird species.
Scientific Skills Club – A mandala is a symbol of the universe in its ideal form, and its creation signifies the transformation of a universe of suffering into one of joy. It can also be used as an aid to meditation, helping the meditator to envision how to achieve the perfect self. Painting mandalas enhanced the cognitive abilities of children. It also helped in expanding
their knowledge revolving around various geometric shapes and patterns.
Theatre Club – As a part of this activity ‘Prop-Up’ Students presented any form of act- role play, standup comedy, famous dialogues of any character using relevant props. This helped them enhance their acting and theatrical skills.
Teen consumer Club – My Business My Logo activity aimed to educate students about the significance of creating attractive and catchy logos for brands. The presentation component improved students creative thinking and presenting skills. The activity successfully engaged students in the world of advertising and brand promotion, making it a valuable learning
experience.
Tinker Club – In this activity students made innovative circuit designs with the help of breadboard, battery, connecting wires and LED etc. Through this activity they were able to learn about computational thinking.

Our school has organized a club activity on Friday, 17th November, 2023 from 10.15 to 11.25 am. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
AEP Club – Students were given an introduction on Right of Teenagers, which made them aware of their rights and their importance. Students were divided into several groups. Each group consisted of 3-4 students. Members of each group prepared a wall magazine using the newspaper and magazine’s clippings related to child abuse, drug abuse and other problems related to teenagers. They also discussed about the teenage issues and understood the importance of speaking up for their rights.
Health and Wellness Club – Healthy Delights: As a part of this activity students made healthy snacks using vegetables and sprouts. Students were told the importance of healthy snacking. They understood the benefits of healthy snacks comprising of fibre and protein. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Interact Club – Best out of E-waste: In this activity students learnt how to make various decorative things by using e- wastes like- CDs, Bulb, LED Lights, and wires. Through this activity they learnt to recycle and re-use the e-waste. They learnt designing and ways to use
their creativity constructively.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – As a part of this activity, ‘My Role Model’ students got a platform to showcase their skills, analyze, evaluate, and uncover their aptitude.Each child chose his/her favourite personality. The students spoke a few lines describing the character while enacting like his/her role model. The activity helped the students emancipate reasoning, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, and collaborative abilities. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
Nature Club –Students, using their creativity, made Wall Magazines focusing on environmental challenges and the suggestions to solve them and gave a presentation on their work.
Scientific Skills Club – In Tangram fun students performed various hands on and developed their critical skill. Students learnt and understood things from the perspective of Geometry. Tangram Stem Activity enabled children to learn about a range of themes such as colour, shape, pattern, and size. It also helped young children develop an incredibly early understanding of Geometry and Engineering.
Theatre Club – As a part of this activity ‘Rasbahar’, students were shown a presentation on different emotions. Thereafter the students enacted according to the emotions shown to them. This helped students to present confidently, use different parts of the stage effectively and overcome their stage fear.
Teen consumer Club – The Slogan Writing activity aimed to educate students about the significance of creating an attractive and catchy tagline for products. This helped students improve their creative thinking and writing skills. The activity successfully engaged students in the world of advertising and brand promotion, making it a valuable learning experience.
Tinker Club – In the Design Thinking activity students made new and attractive designs using old and discarded materials and integrated them with breadboard, battery, connecting wires and LED etc. Through this activity they were able to enhance their creative skills.

To support the theme, students prepared advertisements in a creative way using relevant props and costumes. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students ready for future.All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were shown a Power Point Presentation giving emphasis on Time Management, which helped them make better use of the time they had for studies and other activities. Students were divided into groups of 2-3 members. Each group was asked to make a list of activities through which they wasted time. Thereafter each group gave a small presentation on how to manage time effectively.
Health and Wellness Club –Dr. Anupama Kukreja BHMS, MD (Homeopathy) was invited as a resource person to conduct a session on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the students. She is a Homeopathic Physician practising since 2009 at Heal and Cure Homeopathic Clinic.Students learnt about the anger and stress management techniques to cope up with stress and anxiety that they face in their daily life. Students interacted with the resource person and shared their views on the topic. The session was very engrossing and the students participated enthusiastically in the session.
Interact Club – Care for caregivers: As a part of this activity students were first introduced to the concept of caregiving to sensitize them towards their carer. Thereafter students prepared posters, wrote poems to express their love and gratitude towards their career. The objective of this activity was to raise awareness about caregivers' roles, responsibilities, and well-being while equipping students with the knowledge and tools to support caregivers within their families and communities.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – The Club Activity ‘Dust Jacket’ was organized for the students. Each participant designed a book jacket using ecofriendly and renewable material. The participants also spoke on why their book jacket was appropriate for the story and the thought process behind its creation. The participants were given 30 minutes for preparation and 35 minutes for designing their book jackets. Each participant displayed creativity and skill in their artwork, bringing their own understanding of the story to life with their illustrated covers.
Nature Club – An activity named Self Contemplation was organised for the students to sensitize them towards the tribal culture. As a part of this activity students showcased our tribal culture and tradition by getting dressed up like them and also showed their creativity by making different 3D tribal musical instruments and tribal jewellery.
Scientific Skills Club – Students performed various hands-on like pendulum painting, toothpick bridge, evaporation art etc. to develop their critical skills. STEAM ART challenges students to think outside the box and allows them the freedom to explore different designs and ideas that no one has thought about before. Allowing creativity and imagination to flow freely can lead to improving a child’s problem-solving skills as they learn how to interpret information and voice their ideas and opinions in a creative and confident way.
Theatre Club – Mr. Bhaavesh Suryakant from Hindustan Times Educational Department - PACE was invited for this session. A small workshop on Stage Management was conducted for the students. After the workshop students presented their theatrical skills in form of mimicry, voice modulation, acting, standup comedy etc. This helped students to present confidently, use different parts of the stage effectively and overcome their stage fear.
Teen consumer Club – The Peek at Packaging activity was conducted for the students. The main aim of the activity was to educate students about the significance of eco-friendly packaging materials and inculcate creative thinking about sustainable packaging solutions. Students actively participated in the activity and gained valuable insights into the importance
of eco-friendly packaging.
Tinker Club – In this session students made LED lights using breadboard, battery, connecting wires and LED. Through this activity they were able to learn about Arduino breadboards, series and parallel circuits.

Teachers’ Day is observed on 5th September. This day is also the birthday of the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This day is celebrated in various ways in various educational institutions across the country. Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar also celebrated Teachers’ Day with zeal and enthusiasm this year.
The entire event took place in the MP Hall of the school. The venue was decorated with several display boards and banners that were prepared by the students themselves. The students from class VI to VIII participated in the programme. The formal programme started at 7.45 am with the prayer song and welcome speech by the anchors and then it followed a series of cultural presentation that included poem recitation, dance performance, song presentation and skit etc. The dance performance by the students of the school in honour of their teachers was really amazing and it revealed their inner talent. The melodious song sung by the children wove the threads of the event more closely. The presentation of the skit and poem recitation by the students also deserved a special accolade.
The programme was conducted under the tutelage of the Principal Madam of the school. She also delivered a befitting speech on the significance of Teachers’ Day. The programme ended at 08.20 am with vote of thanks.

Children showcased zealous participation and presented "Jingles" on positive approach .The melodious songs pulled the heartstrings of the audience. A quiz for the audience was also organized on the given theme after every presentation. Students of class VII presented "masquerade show" in which they dressed up as their chosen characters. They spoke about the famous personalities who were able to set an example of positivity, enthusiasm and optimism. Music binds our soul, heart and emotions. A meeting was held on 24th April 2023 from 8.30 to 9.40 a.m. to give a brief introduction to the students about the club activities planned for the session 2023-2024.

Financial literacy programme was held in all section of class VIII. Students explained about the Module 10 of financial literacy and cleared the concept of Apex Bank ie Reserve Bank of India. Students were informed about the needs and functions of Reserve Bank of India. Students learned that RBI regulates all the commercial banks of our country and leads to monetary stability in economy. Students participated enthusiastically in the activity.

All the students enjoyed the program and participated enthusiastically.

An assignment was also given to the students in which they had to ask their parents how they used digital means of payment such as Paytm or UPI and how to operate these apps. All the students enjoyed the program and participated enthusiastically.

Hard work is one value that is integral to life. The school held an Inter-House competition for students of classes VI-VIII with the theme of "Hard Work" in order to understand the importance of sedulous. Students took part in various activities to discover and instil the value of hard work. Students of class VI participated in an activity “Charitrankan” wherein they portrayed different characters allotted to them according to the topics. They all participated enthusiastically in the activity. Class VII students participated in the "Sur Sangam" a musical show. Students thoroughly enjoyed the enthralling performances. They presented a variety of songs related to the given theme. On the other hand, grades VI-VIII participated in the activity " Puppeteers" to hone their theatrical and presentation talents. Students of different houses prepared and presented the activity according to the assigned topics. Overall, it was a brilliant performance. After each presentation, the audience was given a quiz based on the assigned topics. This exercise helped students to develop their dedication, determination and focus. The real wealth of an individual is hard work as hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.

Law is not just a thing to obey for oneself but helps in making a peaceful society. To awaken the awareness about the established norms/rules and regulations within the students, the school organized Inter-House competition for the students of Grades VI-VIII. The students participated in different activities to learn the importance of being a responsible and law-abiding citizen. They showed their zealous participation and played roles in different enactments in the activity “NAATYA” to showcase, why obeying rules is required from each one of us. Students also showcased a digital wall paper on “CYBER BULLYING” and gave presentation in the classrooms. Students prepared 3D models of Indian Monuments too with the help of clay in the activity “PLAY-DOH-FUN”. Through these activities, students not only learnt about the glory of our nation but also expressed patriotism.

CLUB ACTIVITY
12th October, 2022
Our school has organised a club activity on Tuesday, 11th October 2022, from 10.50 to 11.25 am. Interesting activities were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students were given an introduction on the topic of Anger Management which, is effective in helping them to regulate their behaviour and deal with their feelings of anger when they surface. It also lowers stress, and leads to career success.
It was an individual activity where each child was given a situation which makes them angry and was asked to jot down the possible ways that would help them to overcome the situation without getting angry. Each child presented his/ her views/ opinions on the situation. They were guided by the teacher and other students also gave valuable suggestions that can help them control anger in an effective manner.
Health and Wellness Club – In this activity, students made healthy immunity booster drinks and snacks by using different ingredients like fruits, vegetables, dry fruits and medicinal herbs etc. Through this activity they learnt about the medicinal properties of various herbs and plants. Students participated enthusiastically in the activity.
Interact Club – In this activity students had prepared “A talk show” in groups and presented the same in class on the day of activity. Theme of the Activity was Social injustice. Through this activity they have learned how to raise their voice against social injustice. They also learnt to visualize situations and gave expressions to their thoughts. This was a group activity and all students participated very enthusiastically.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – Students created puppets in the class and presented a puppet show. The activity was done in groups and each team presented for about 1.5 minutes. The activity aided in presenting a sensitive topic like ‘Gender Stereotypes’ prevalent in society by showcasing their creative sides as well as enhancing their fluency while presenting the show.
Nature Club – In this activity students presented themselves as members of a tribe and talked about their lifestyle, art forms, language and culture. Through this activity they learnt about different tribes and their lifestyles, their culture and how it influences our life. It also helped them to develop respect and gratitude for the tribes and their culture.
Scientific Skills Club – In this activity students prepared paper spinners, boomerang and Balloon cars. Through this activity they learnt the concept of motion behind the Balloon Cars, Boomerang and Paper Spinners and also understood the principles of change in air pressure, flow and force.
Theatre Club – Students were allotted different emotions/gestures, which they presented with expression and voice modulations. Through this activity they were able to gain confidence and learnt how to overcome their stage fear. Students were able to strengthen their skills in acting, dialogue delivery, voice modulation, effective expressions etc.
Teen consumer Club – Students prepared pamphlets/brochures to represent various issues related to E-commerce. This activity gave them a creative understating towards the pros and cons of online trading. It developed their aesthetic learning and a better understanding of the consumer rights and duties.
Tinker Club – As a part of this activity students were able to recognize the Latest and Future Issues and Challenges in Innovation. This activity helped to expose the student with State-of-The-Art Perspectives, Ideas, Concepts, And Solutions Related to The Design and Execution of Innovation Driven Projects Using Design Thinking Principles.

A brief description of the Activity:
A workshop on interpersonal skills was organised to help students develop their communication skills and boost their confidence. Ms. Anuradha Khanna, an interior designer turned digital entrepreneur interacted with students and motivated them to overcome their hesitation and how to interact confidently with people.
The session was very engrossing and students participated actively. They also shared the problems that they face in their day-to-day activities and learnt different ways to overcome these challenges.

The students of classes VI and VII attended an online session on the topic FUN WITH ABACUS, organised by the school on 8th October 2022. The resource person was Mrs. Renu Mehra who is a trained Abacus Instructor and is working with students since 2016. The students were introduced to the Abacus and its working. The representation of 2 digit and 3 digit numbers on Abacus was explained to the students and how the use if Abacus makes our calculations easy. They were also taught about the place values and how the numbers can be added with ease by the usage of abacus. It was a knowledgeable session and the students enjoyed the session while learning something new and interesting.

The resource person of workshop, Ms Archana Kanugo, shared the brilliance of Vedic maths and taught many short tricks to students, which helped them to increase their interest and confidence in Mathematics.

‘A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite imagination and instill love for learning’.
Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September to appreciate the role played by teachers in the life of students–the leaders of tomorrow. Students of middle department celebrated this day with great enthusiasm.
Teachers’ Day was filled with exciting and heart-warming presentations from the students.
The programme commenced with a Symphony -a self-composed song. This was followed by Dance -Guru Vandana. The students enjoyed the event a lot. A speech by head girl and head boy was delivered to show their affection, regard and respect for their teachers. Our Principal guided students to follow the instructions of their teachers and follow their footsteps.
The programme concluded by a beautiful dance on Teachers love and a duet on instrument.

The ceremony was held with zeal and enthusiasm. It commenced with praying the almighty and an energetic dance.
The members of the prefectorial board were conferred with badges by our Honourable Principal, Mr. Arvind Bhatia.
The student council took the pledge to hold the school motto in high esteem.
Our Principal congratulated them and told them to be impartial and honest in leadership, unity, discipline and morality.

They showed their zealous participation and presented different dance forms to show how dance can also help in instilling positive outlook. Students of class VII presented TED talks on what kept them positive and hopeful during the period of lockdown. Students of class VI did role plays of unsung heroes who set an example of having positive approach in their lives.

CLUB ACTIVITY
Our school has organised a club activity on Monday, 8th August 2022, from 8.30 to 9.40 AM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students understood about stress and they also learnt the procedure of reducing stress by getting access to several stress buster tools. Different stress buster activities like tongue twisters, presentation of yoga asanas, aerobics etc. were presented/performed by the students. Students got to know various aspects and merits of using these stress buster tools. Students discussed stress caused by COVID pandemic and how they could reduce it by using these tools.
Health and Wellness Club – In this activity, students prepared various panoramic sceneries using different fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables were given different shapes and were combined to create a healthy salad. Through this activity students learnt how to present a healthy salad in a creative way.
Interact Club – Ms. Sadhna was invited from the Times Group for this session. In this activity students learnt to prepare various decorative things like- toran, wind chimes and organisers using waste material. Through this activity they have learned their duties towards the community. This was an individual activity and all students participated enthusiastically.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – Students dressed as formal delegates, represented international bodies like the UNDP, UNESCO, WHO, and UNICEF, and discussed the health facilities during COVID. It was a round table conference and each student presented their point of view for about a minute. This activity was aimed at developing an understanding of how these international bodies function and brainstorming skills in the students.
Nature Club – In this activity students made terrariums and discussed their importance and how it can be used in daily life. They also learnt about different indoor plants and their uses. It helped them to understand the process of water cycle and its importance for plants and develop sensitivity for nature by learning how to conserve water.
Scientific Skills Club – In this activity students prepared some toys, circuits with gliding robot craft or craft stick catapult, etc. They learnt the concept of gliding robot craft /craft stick catapult and making of different toys using LEDs, wire, battery etc.
Theatre Club – Students were allotted different dialogues and words, which they presented with expression and voice modulations. Through this activity they were able to gain confidence and learnt how to overcome their stage fear. Students were able to strengthen their skills in acting, dialogue delivery, voice modulation etc.
Teen consumer Club – Students prepared comic strips to represent various issues related to consumerism. This activity gave them a creative understating towards consumer rights and issues. It developed their aesthetic learning and a better understanding of the consumer rights and duties.
Tinker Club – In this session students learnt the concept of breadboard and prepared different circuits using wires and LEDs. They also prepared fairy lights, circuits with blinking lights etc. Through this activity they learnt about breadboards and making simple circuits.

“Painting is just another way of keeping a diary-Pablo Picasso”.
The students of middle department showcased their perceptions about ‘Love Earth,Love Life’ through their creativity over canvas. A poster making activity ‘Love Earth,Love Life’ was organised in which students gave a message of adopting a tree.
Through this competition some students portrayed about a healthy environment in their posters by planting more trees. The students painted their perceptions on paper about saving the planet earth from pollution and other damages. The students wonderfully depicted the dangers harming the planet and also the uniqueness of the planet was showcased through the variations of colours.
This was not all, but the students also wrote creative slogans over their paintings to address the message clearly.
The competition was like an extravagance for the young painters and the spectators as well, as they have used their brilliance of painting blended with the perceptions displayed on the painting sheet. Further the young artists also displayed the uniqueness and beauty of the earth was commendable.

Students of Classes VI - VIII participated in a plethora of events organised to mark the International Day of Yoga. A Painting competition, An Online Quiz and a Slogan Writing Competition were organised. The theme of the activity was based on Yoga Postures, Benefits of Yoga respectively.All the students participated zealously in all the events.

Students got an excellent opportunity to explore the nature through the various activities conducted like art from waste exhibits, recycling initiative, waste reduction initiatives etc.The celebrations ended with educating students on how to plant and adopt a tree and motivated them to plant more and more trees.
This endeavour aimed at committing to work together to build a safer, more prosperous and equitable world for all and to ensure environmental sustainability was a resounding success.

CLUB ACTIVITIES
15th JANUARY, 2022
Our school has organised a club activity on Saturday, 15th January, 2022 from 8.00 to 9.00 AM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students enacted a Social Advertisement using props, placards, banners and posters etc on the topic- “Say no to Substance Abuse” to create awareness among the teenagers. Through this activity they learnt various techniques which would enable them to assertively say no to people who encourage them to engage in substance abuse.
ATL Club – In this session students were taught about the difference between the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. They integrated the concept of virtual reality and developed an online game using the applications like Scratch/ Tinkercad etc.
Health and Wellness Club – In this activity students made healthy landscapes using different fruits and vegetables. They had cut the fruit and vegetables into different shapes and arranged them to create a picturesque landscape/scenery. Through this activity they were able to depict a scene from their day-to-day life in a creative manner.
Interact Club – As a part of this activity students chose a government policy or scheme launched recently (for example- Skill India, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna etc.) and prepared a Newsletter on it. They also gave a small presentation of about 2-3 minutes in which they explained the policy/scheme chosen by them and its benefits. This activity aimed at sensitising children towards the efforts made by our government for the welfare of the society.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – In this activity students were shown three different images with numbers and dots. Students connected the dots and formed a character in their minds. They then weaved a story on that character with their imagination and presented it on the spot.
Nature Club – Each class was allotted a topic for this activity. Students used old and discarded plastic bottles and trays and recreated them into beautiful planters, pen stands, wall hangings and bird feeders. Through this activity students were able to understand the concept of 5Rs.
Scientific Skills Club – During this activity students performed different scientific activities based on simple pendulum. Each child (turn-wise) was asked to prepare a painting using their pendulum. Here they have developed a temptation for inquiry-based science education and also learnt the concept of simple pendulum.
Teen consumer Club – As a part of this activity students made eco-friendly products like paper bags, organisers and chandeliers, used in our day-to-day life to promote green consumerism.
Theatre Club – In this activity students tried to explain the importance of healthy food, cleanliness and hygiene with the help of a puppet or hand show. This session not only helped them to understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and ways to prevent pollution but also enhanced their presentation skills and self-confidence

As a part of the ‘Gift of Hope’ program this activity was conducted to thank people, who always work for us. “Giving” also connects us to others, creating stronger communities and helping to build a happier society for everyone.
In this activity students of Grade VI-VIII prepared a stationery kit on their own and gifted it to their household maids or guards as a token of thanks.
This activity made our students understand the importance of Giving in our life and also made them realize their own role and duty as a responsible citizen of the society.
Students enthusiastically participated in this activity to show their support, love and appreciation for humanity.

CLUB ACTIVITIES
13th NOVEMBER, 2021
The clubs of middle department conducted interesting activities and workshops to make the students future ready. All the students participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – This activity aimed at teaching students about the problems related to the teenagers. Students collected newspaper and magazines clippings related to child abuse, drug abuse and other problems related to teenage. Then they prepared collage and posters on different measures for curbing child abuse/drug abuse.
ATL Club – In this session students learnt designing and ways to use their creativity constructively. Students prepared toran, wall hangings or a chain of different styled bottles. Then they integrated a simple LED circuit with their toran or bottles to make a decorative item for their home.
Health and Wellness Club – In this session students discussed about the various deformities like round shoulder, bow legs, kyphosis etc. and health problems associated with them that we have acquired in our day-to-day life due to the incorrect postures of walking, sitting or sleeping. They also demonstrated different exercises to correct our postures and overcome these deformities.
Interact Club - This activity aimed at sensitising children towards the problems of gender-based discrimination in our society. Students presented different acts on gender sensitization highlighting the problems of girl education or lack of opportunities and restrictions faced by women in the society. Through their acts they also suggested different ways to overcome these problems.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – Students were given three different genres of poets (grade-wise). Students prepared a ladder and presented their chosen poet. They were able to pen-down their favourite lines (from any poem) of the chosen poet. This activity aimed at enhancing creativity and brainstorming skills in the students.
Nature Club – Each class was allotted a time period from the Indian history. Students chose a story from that era and presented it in form of a poem or couplet with the help of different props. They also dressed up like the characters from their story to make the presentation livelier.
Scientific Skills Club – During this activity students performed different mathematical activities based on the Pythagoras Theorem. Here they have developed an temptation for inquiry-based mathematical education.
Teen consumer Club – In this activity students made flyers/posters on different quality standard marks like ISI, BIS Hallmark etc. and discussed their importance. Through this activity they were able to understand the need to check the standard/ quality marks before purchasing any product to assure that the product or service meets the requirements associated with that quality mark.
Theatre Club – This was a laughter session in which each child presented either an act/song/joke/story/puppet show etc. in order to make others laugh.
This session not only helped them in enhancing their presentation skills but also boosted their self-confidence and taught them the benefits of laughter.

The exhilaration and celebratory spirit that Diwali brings is unmatchable. To add to the festive fervour, students of Middle department presented a special assembly on Diwali on 2nd November,2021.
There was a plethora of activities like Budding master chefs where children prepared festive delicacies. Creative activities like Rangoli and festive lantern making, Diya, Thali and Candle decorations were also organised. The students also showcased their talents through presentations on lessons learnt from Ramayana.
Students participated in the event with full enthusiasm and dedication and seemed to be completely immersed in their activities.

Then they integrated a simple LED circuit with their character to create a special effect like glowing eyes, moving hands etc.
Health and Wellness Club – In this session students demonstrated various asanas and pranayams and also explained their benefits. A small discussion round was also kept for students to make a note on all the asanas demonstrated during the session and also put-up questions to understand more about the asanas and their health benefits.
Interact Club - In this activity students prepared various thanks-giving token like memory album or jewellery and also spoke a few lines to express their love for their mother. After preparing the thanks-giving token, they gifted it to their mother during the activity only and also shared their live experiences or feelings to show love and respect for motherhood.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – Students were given different topics like “position of women in the society during the 19th century or social changes in society during the 18th century. Students read about different notions prevailing in different centuries. They were able to give an overall description of their respective centuries. This activity aimed at enhancing creativity and brainstorming skills in the students.
Nature Club – In this activity students prepared a biosphere using locally available things like, sand, pebble, water, plastic bottles etc. Students also grew small plants which can survive in less water. Through this activity students were able to understand the need to conserve the environment.
Scientific Skills Club – During this activity students performed different experiments to illustrate various concepts like separation, chemical changes etc. They also asked interesting facts/questions based on their experiment/activity.
Teen consumer Club – In this activity students used different forms of presentations like ppt or canva to show the statistics related to scams/frauds. They showcased the most common frauds/ scams the people are suffering from in today’s world. A small discussion on consumer rights and duties was organised to make them an aware teen consumer.
Theatre Club – In this session students learned some interesting facts about dramatization and enactment. Students chose a famous personality of their choice from different fields like- politics, entertainment, literature, sports etc. Then they enacted like that personality by performing his/her signature step and other students guessed the name of the personality.

The IDS Activity- Celebrating Humanity was held for the students of classes VI-VIII. The students were made to virtually visit Old Age Home -Shashiraj Foundation.
The resource person, Mr. Shivdhar, from the old-age home gave a virtual tour to the students and showed them different places for relaxing, i.e., Common room where they had television, small open sitting area where they enjoyed their tea and shared gossips of the evening and a small park which is used for celebrating festivals, birthdays and different functions. In addition to this, they also had medical services room, kitchen and laundry room.
After the home tour, the students got a chance to talk to one of the residents, Mrs. Sunita, who was a banker before retirement as there was nobody to look after her. She interacted with students and told them about her routine and also answered many of their questions.
This visit gave an opportunity to the students to witness and realize the importance of family and how important it is to love, share and care. The students prepared greeting cards, wrote messages to make people aware about the importance of sharing and caring.

Our School has organised a club activity on Saturday, 31st July 2021 from 8.30-9.30 AM. Interesting activities were designed and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in it.
Some Highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were given a talk on healthy eating habits by our esteemed resource person Ms. Parul Yadav a senior dietician from Lucknow. This session helped them in understanding the importance of healthy food and balanced diet for a healthy living.
ATL Club – The students prepared greeting cards, posters, showpieces, vases etc. and decorated them with the use of simple circuit and colourful LEDs. The items prepared looked attractive due to the lighting effects.
They learnt about the use of simple circuits and LEDs and applied their knowledge in a creative manner.
Health and Wellness Club – Students prepared homemade delights like smoothies, energy drinks and pickles during the activity by using the materials readily available at their home and also explained the benefits of the drinks/pickles prepared by them.
Interact Club - Students prepared Face Mask and Hand sanitizer and also wrote motivational Slogans during the activity. They also shared their feelings and thoughts about the present scenario of COVID-19 in India. All the Students extended their gratitude and empathy towards the health workers and appreciated their efforts.
Literary and Creative Skills Club - Students presented the given topic by speaking for and against it. They were able to convey their ideas critically. This activity aimed at inculcating reading habit in students.
Nature Club - Students participated in a Talk Show to discuss about the concept of Green Roof. Some students enacted as RJs and Anchors who interviewed the other students portraying various experts who shared their views and opinions about the Green Roof.
Scientific Skills Club –
Students made 2D and 3D models of various mathematical shapes and scientific formulas using clay and straws. Through this activity they learned about many scientific and mathematical shapes, structure and formulas.
Teen consumer Club - Students enacted as deceived customers sharing their experiences about online shopping and frauds. They also learned about their rights and duties as consumers.
Theatre Club –
As a part of this activity students chose a rasa and present the bhava allotted to that rasa. Students learnt about different rasas and the bhava associated with it.

Some Highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were given different tasks like copying beat, words, tongue twister etc. Each student will hear it carefully and then will repeat it. This activity focussed on improving concentration and skills.
ATL Club – The students have prepared any two useful models like hand blender etc. with the materials available. Most of the models were working.
Health and Wellness Club – Students were given live fitness challenges and they have performed the challenges effectively. Students have given demonstration about correct posture and way of doing first then they competed with each other.
Interact Club – In the workshop, students learnt to prepare wind chimes with waste material in a creative manner. Students after making it, concluded with their work and materials any specific used in it.
Literary and Creative skills Club - Students prepared a ‘Book Jacket’ based on the given themes like Comedy, Suspense and Thriller which represented their idea of the book to others.
Nature Club – Students prepared models on monuments from the different regions of India allotted to them using Waste material. It was followed with discussions on history of their monuments.
Scientific Skills Club – Students prepared journal of 5 pages on famous Scientist/Mathematician/Logical Tricks in the first 15-20 mins. Students also presented their journals and gave interesting facts about the given topic in the rest of the time.
Teen consumer Club - Students made self-designed logos on the given theme like school logo, Logo for Social work and for businesses. After making logo, students presented their logo in respect to what is the basic motive behind such design.
Theatre Club - A small session on the various theatrical skills and different aspects of theatre took place. They were asked to enact on any on the spot topics. At the end students clarified their doubts.

Our School has organised a club activity on 6th February 2021 from 08.15AM-09.15 AM. Interesting activities were designed and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in it.
Some Highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in club Activities-
AEP Club – Students designed innovative stress buster tools using pillows and sponge balls. Students were also briefed about the factors of stress an it’s consequences.
ATL Club – Students were briefed about design thinking and Tinker cad along with a video and a presentation to understand the structure and functioning of a 3D printer. Thereafter, they made 3D models after designing them.
Health and Wellness Club – Students prepared different face and hair masks using natural ingredients like turmeric, aloe vera, besan, hibiscus etc. after preparing the mask they also explained about its benefits.
Interact Club – Each child made a Thank you Card as a token of eternity and respect for all the Corona warriors. They also wrote about their live experiences or related story. After preparing the Card, students shared about their live experiences or situations.
Literary and Creative skills Club - Students acted as a critic and gave a review of any one movie and one cartoon show focusing different aspects example theme, picturization, relevance, cast.
Nature Club - In this activity students planted different types of flowering plants, medicinal plants and various air purifiers. They all used organic manures prepared from the kitchen waste and dry leaves/flowers. Instead of buying new pots, students used the old plastic cans and containers to make the pots. They beautifully decorated the pots using colourful stones and pebbles.
After they prepared their tray gardens each student enthusiastically explained the benefits of the plants selected by them and the manure that they have used.
Scientific Skills Club –
Each student presented his/her mathematical tricks (puzzles, patterns, etc) on a sheet of paper and other students answered the questions asked in those puzzles in chat box.
Teen consumer Club - Students made a Brochure on E-Commerce, mentioning at least five strategies and benefits of E-Commerce. They also mentioned the pros and cons of E-Commerce website accompanied by the pictures collected from newspapers, magazines and other sources.
Theatre Club -
Students enacted as sports personality, leader, poet, actor, actress, social worker etc. and other students guessed the name of the personality.
To commemorate the 72nd Republic Day, celebrations were held online with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Not only the students but the parents also participated enthusiastically in the various programmes organized to mark the day.

Students of class VII prepared colourful 3D gift card on the topic ‘My Santa’. They chose a person whom they consider as a ‘Santa’ in their life. The gift card included images of that person and a thanks giving message for them.
Making and Decorating a Christmas Crib
Students of class VIII prepared a Christmas crib to show the birth scene of Jesus Christ. It included pictures and figures of Mother Mary, Father Joseph and a shepherd.

In this activity students prepared bouquets and cards to thank their parents and teachers and express their gratitude towards them.
Children used different materials like leaves, flowers, waste paper, bottle, wrappers and turned them into beautiful bouquets. This activity gave them a chance to enhance their creative skills.
B. MAKING OF DREAM CATCHERS
As a part of this activity students made colourful dream catchers by using different things such as old bangles, waste bottles, paper. They turned the unused and waste materials into beautiful gifts for their parents and grand-parents as a token of thanks.

REPORT:
An ISA Activity (Grade VI – News Alert & Grade VI-VIII – Thirsty Crow) was organized for the students of grades VI-VIII. The participants, divided into groups, showcased their talent by making newsletters and bird-feeders. They highlighted the underlying theme of ‘Climatic Change’ through the lens of different changes happening around in the surroundings. The students also explained the reasons and effects of climatic changes in different countries and the importance of bird feeders in cities today, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To commemorate THE WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY a webinar was organized for the Tinker Club members of Middle Department on *WALK THROUGH THE WOODS' by Ms. Viji Sridhar, ATL Coordinator
HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS WEBINAR:
=> Celebrating World Environment Day under the theme ‘CELEBRATE BIODIVERSITY’
=> A Walk through the Woods - Students were taken for a virtual tour under the green canopy of wild life sanctuaries and national parks
=>Microgreens - A small step to a greener life. They were taught the new techniques of growing micro saplings without soil and chemicals during lockdown with minimal resources
=> A short environmental quiz was conducted. The celebration culminated with taking a pledge to protect the provider.

It was an individual activity. Participants had to make their composition on A4 sized sheet. All the students made the mosaic work beautifully. The competition gave an opportunity to students to arrange different geometrical shapes in a MOSAIC art form. They learnt about different shapes, space division, time management and colour combination.

NAME OF ACTIVITY : Pamphlet/Poster Making- ‘Aware and Safe Teen Consumer’
DAY & DATE : 6th - 8th June 2020

REPORT:
In this activity students made a poster/pamphlet mentioning at least four instructions for being an ‘aware and safe teen consumer during the coronavirus pandemic’, accompanied by relevant pictures. This was an individual activity and all students of class VIII participated in it very enthusiastically. It gave them an opportunity to learn about the ways of being an aware and safe teen consumer.
NAME OF ACTIVITY : Boost Your immunity With Detox Water
DAY & DATE : 30th May to 1st June 2020

REPORT:
In this activity students prepared Detox water using different combinations of fruits and vegetables and then explained about its health benefits. This was an individual activity and all students participated very enthusiastically. It gave them an opportunity to learn about the health benefits of detox water.

REPORT:
In this activity students prepared an E-Brochure on the given topic “Memories of Lockdown” and wrote about their positive experiences during this lockdown period. They also attached photos of how beautifully they are utilizing their time.
This activity aimed at making students aware about this precious time they are getting in this COVID-19 situation and using it in a constructive manner.
