Brief description of the activity:
The eighth session of robotics was conducted in which students with Abot kit designed a black line follower robot using two IR sensors and wrote a code for the same in AMS using repeat loop, if else conditional statement and logic. Whereas, IOT kit students designed a circuit for visor count using makerboard and IR sensors and wrote a code for the same. The session was conducted smoothly and timely.

PARTICIPATING CLASSES: VI-VIII
Our school has organised a club activity on Monday, 11th November 2024, from 8.00 to 9.00 AM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – The activity was conducted to foster personal growth, self-discovery, and emotional intelligence among students. It encouraged students to delve deeper into their personal values, beliefs, and motivations. It assisted students in setting and achieving personal and academic goals.
Health and Wellness Club – A session on Fitness Regimen was organized for the students of Health and Wellness Club. In this activity, they performed fitness drills and Zumba on music and were also given some fitness tips. The importance of a good diet was also discussed with students. Students were actively engaged in the session, and they enjoyed the activities thoroughly.
Interact Club – Through this activity, students learnt to help the community. In this activity, students have also learned to raise social issues like importance of cleanliness and what they can do for betterment. They enhanced awareness of environmental issues and gave expression to their thoughts about how to fight social issues. They have also learned that they should actively be involved in all the school activities.
Literary and Creative Skills Club - "Speak to Lead," this activity was designed to enhance students' public speaking, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Students participated by presenting themselves as celebrities from various fields such as sports, entertainment, science, and literature. Other students acted as press reporters, engaging the celebrities in a lively question-and-answer format.
Nature Club – Beegreen offers safe, non-toxic products, free from chemicals and filled with organic components. This activity enhanced the feeling of saving the environment and people. It also enhanced their social and creative skills. Students have developed an awareness of how their actions affect the planet and so the need to protect it.
Photography Club- The Theme-Based Photography project provided students with an opportunity to explore different themes like nature, food, people, and abstract concepts through photography. Students experimented with framing, composition, and angles, using their surroundings creatively to capture meaningful images. The session encouraged self-expression while enhancing technical proficiency. At the end, participants presented their best photograph from their chosen theme and shared the creative ideas behind it.
Scientific Skills Club – Tangram Stem Activity enable children to learn about a range of themes such as color, shape, pattern, and size. They also help young children develop an incredibly early understanding of Geometry and Engineering.
Theatre Club – Students presented a story using expressions and voice modulation. They used various props like cap, stick, umbrella, paper etc. to support their enactment.
Comm-E-Con Club –As a part of this activity students made a rap on the awareness of consumers rights. Students were divided into small groups, they identified different situations. Each group then prepared a rap and highlighted ways to exercise consumer rights effectively. The session enhanced students' understanding of consumer rights in real-life situations.
Tinker Club – Ms. Sahiba Vaid, an MBA graduate from Delhi University was invited to conduct a workshop on design thinking for the students. Through her session she helped students unleash their innovative potential.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY:
The seventh session of robotics was conducted in which students with Abot kit designed and coded a touch dancer robot in AMS software and the resource person introduced touch sensor to the students. Whereas, IOT kit students were introduced by the air quality sensor. They wrote a code for air quality checking program for the sensor and, also designed the circuit for the same using maker board. The session was conducted smoothly and timely.

“A clean mouth is a happy mouth – let’s make brushing fun and healthy!”
The students of classes I and II participated in a oral hygiene clay activity. The aim of the activity was to educate students on proper oral care techniques and encourage the adoption of a regular and effective oral care routine. Educators guided students in creating their own models to better understand the anatomy of the mouth and the correct way to clean it. Students were able to relate to the models directly to their own oral hygiene routine, making the learning process more interactive and memorable.
Through this activity students enhanced their understanding of correct brushing and flossing techniques and also increased their awareness of the importance of maintaining oral health. It proved to be an effective, engaging, and educational method for students.

Activity 2 – The students made beautiful ‘Wristbands’ using coloured papers, threads, beads etc. They decorated them using decorative material. The students gifted them to their friends and underprivileged children of their society. Activity 3 - The students made a beautiful ‘Paper Bag’ using cartridge sheet/handmade paper and decorated it with waste material. They presented them to their helpers. |

Each student chose any one event that has happened across the world and has made a sensational headline in the recent past. Participants then presented the news like a news anchor. All the participants dressed up appropriately as well as carried relevant props to enhance the presentation. |

Our school has organised a club activity on Monday, 14th October 2024, from 8.00 to 9.00 AM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were given an introduction on the topic concerned, which gave them a comprehensive idea about My Story My Lesson. Students understood the importance of the topic. They expressed their views and opinion on the subject. They wrote their personal story that reflected their journey toward physical and mental well-being.
Health and Wellness Club – A workshop on ‘Emotional and mental well-being’ was organized for the students of Health and Wellness club. Students were given tips to enhance their emotional and mental state of mind. They were given some mind-relaxing games that rejuvenate their minds and make them stable in life. Anger and stress management techniques were also discussed with the students that they can practice in their daily life. Students interacted with the resource person and shared their views on the topic.
Interact Club – Through this activity they have learned how to follow the traffic rules. Students had come prepared in their respective class groups and presented an enactment and directed a movie. They integrated their creativity with the basic concepts of traffic rules. They have also learned that they should actively be involved in all the school activities.
Literary and Creative Skills Club –"Dramatis Personae" -where students showcased their creative talents through humorous advertisements. Participants selected various products and devised innovative ways to promote them. Each group or individual had 2 minutes to present, using colourful headgear, engaging props, catchy jingles, and slogans. The atmosphere was electric with laughter and creativity as students embraced the challenge.
Nature Club – Music is often an enjoyable activity. This activity enhanced their skill of composing songs, creating rap and spreading awareness about environmental changes and nature protection. It also enhanced their social and creative skills.
Photography Club- The Selfie Project focused on helping students explore creative and technical aspects of photography. Students practiced capturing selfies in mirrors, allowing them to experiment with angles, reflections, and composition. The activity encouraged students to use both large and small mirrors to create their desired selfie shots. At the end, students presented their best photograph and explained their creative choices.
Scientific Skills Club – Students of the scientific skills club participated enthusiastically in making Turkish lamp with a particular mathematical concept. They displayed their creativity in the form of artistic model. Students also presented their art and further explained the mathematical concept behind the art.
Theatre Club – Students used various props like Cap, stick, umbrella etc. to present an act, role play, standup comedy, dialogues. This enhanced their acting and theatrical skills.
Comm-E-Con Club – In this activity students analysed real-world case studies on issues like defective products, overcharging, and false advertising. Divided into small groups, they identified the grievances and discussed practical solutions. Each group presented their findings and explored ways to exercise consumer rights effectively. The session enhanced students' understanding of consumer protection laws and empowered them to address grievances in real-life situations.
Tinker Club – In this session, students prepared different models/prototypes of smart home, showcasing their ideas by placing different types of smart home devices in the prototype. Through this activity, they were able to think about various devices that can be converted into smart devices for better living.

Our school has organised a club activity on Friday, 27th September 2024, from 12.55 to 2.00 PM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Students were given an introduction on the topic concerned, which gave them a comprehensive idea about Digital Wellness. Students understood the importance of the topic. They expressed their views and opinion on Digital Wellness by creating beautiful and attractive posters.
Health and Wellness Club –As a part of this activity, students planned their meal keeping in mind the nutritional value of the items and then pasted the pictures of food items on disposable plates. The activity was very engrossing and the students enjoyed the activity thoroughly.
Interact Club – Through this activity, students learned how to conserve the environment. A workshop was conducted for the students. In which they learned to make paper bags and wall hangings using waste paper. The students integrated their creativity with the basic concepts of paper waste.
Literary and Creative Skills Club –This activity encouraged students to craft and present self-composed poetry, specifically focusing on limericks, cinquains, or other forms of short poetry. In addition to composing their poems, students were tasked with using related props and employing proper expressions and voice modulation during their presentations.
Nature Club – This activity helped the students to research and create awareness of how to recycle and reuse the waste old materials and reduce the use of plastic to conserve nature and the environment. It also enhances their awareness and creative skills.
Photography Club- The main aim of the activity was to train students in taking good-quality pictures with perfect angles using various features of a digital camera. Students learned the proper use of digital cameras. They also learned the use of different features of the SLR and DSLR.
Scientific Skills Club – Students of the scientific skills club participated enthusiastically in making figurative art with a particular mathematical shape. They displayed their creativity in the form of art. Students also presented their art and further explained the properties of the shape used.
Theatre Club – This activity was done in pairs. One child gave a dialogue that was enacted by his/her partner. Other students present in the class had to guess the dialogue.
Comm-E-Con Club – The primary objective of the Consumer Rights Poster Activity was to educate students about their rights as consumers while allowing them to creatively express this knowledge through poster design. This activity provided students with a hands-on opportunity to explore key consumer rights, enhancing their understanding of the topic while fostering creativity and communication skills.
Tinker Club – In this session, students prepared Torans and string lights using old bottles and paper cups and integrated them with LEDs using simple circuits. Through this activity, they were able to learn about Arduino breadboards, making small decorative electronic pieces.

Fourth session of robotics was conducted in which students designed a piano bot and coded the same to work with two IR sensors. The concept of LED and sound blocks was also introduced. Students wrote a code for mood lamp to glow different patterns in LED on makerboard using all four buttons. Students used prebuilt patterns and leaned to create their own patterns as well.

Aashvi Kohli who has been selected as ZIR (session 2024-25) for the Interact district 3012 along with the teacher coordinators Mrs R.D.Arora and Mrs Bharti Dagar participated in DILA (DISTRICT INTERACT LEADERSHIP ASSEMBLY) 2024-25 at Amity University Noida. The theme of this year was YUVA-VIRAJ. Aashvi kohli was given the batch as ZIR.
The guest speaker Mr.Rakshit Tandon taught Interactors about cyber crimes and how to protect themselves from cyber crimes. He captivated the students with his interactive session.
The students were guided and trained by Interact chair Sachin Vats and the District Governor about Leadership development.
The Interactors were briefed about their roles and responsibilities also.
- Students were able to learn about their roles and responsibilities as office bearer of the Interact Club.
- Students were trained in Leadership development.
- Students also learnt about different projects they can undertake in their school.
Students also learnt about cyber crimes and protection from cyber crimes.
INSTALLATION CEREMONY - INTERACT CLUB
The Installation Ceremony took place on Tuesday, 14th August 2024, and was attended by Interactors from classes VI to XII. The event was graced by a delegation from Rotary Vivek, including its President, Rotarian Manish Aggarwal.
The ceremony began with a ‘Vandana’ and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a captivating dance performance and a melodious presentation by the school choir. The distinguished guests then had the honor of pinning badges on the newly elected team.
Both the Principal and the Rotary President addressed the students, encouraging them to strive for excellence and put their best foot forward.

Practice session for VIBGYOR event was conducted. Some of the students designed models to be presented on the day of the event. Children were requested to design related drawings (cardboard), props and they need to bring it along in the next class.

Class V- Make an Eco-friendly Bird Feeder
The students made an eco- friendly bird feeder from waste material and decorated it according to their creativity.
The aim was to spread awareness about the importance of preserving our planet and to
encourage students to take necessary actions to protect the environment.

Class IV – COASTER CRAFT Class V – MUG MASTERPIECE Activity I - The Interact Club organized the activity, 'Pencil Artistry’ for the students of classes III. They decorated colourful pencils in a beautiful manner using different materials like ribbons, mirrors etc. They gifted the pencils to the underprivileged children around their society or to the children of their house-helps. Activity II – The students of class IV participated in ‘Coaster Craft’ activity. They made beautiful and innovative coaters using waste material like old CDs, cardboard pieces, jute ropes etc. The students gifted the decorated coasters were to the helpers in the school and shown gratitude to their work. Activity III – The students of class V performed ‘Mug Masterpiece’ activity. They painted and decorated an old ceramic mug by using clay, acrylic colours and other decorative materials. They presented the beautifully painted mug to the helpers around them in school or at home. |
LITERARY CLUB | "NOVEL-O-SONG"
Each participant chose any one song based on a novel and presented it in the class. To enhance the performance, students carried props and supported their song with a musical karaoke. Some of the popular novels chosen by the students were Spiderman, Matilda etc. The students were dressed up appropriately and carried relevant props.

In order to spread awareness and sensitization about the sustainable activities essential for our mother earth. Students dressed up and showcased their eco-friendly outfits on the runway using organic fabrics and recycled material. By combining creativity with nutritional awareness, the students were empowered to make healthier food choices and develop a positive attitude towards nutritious eating.Through this activity students developed their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. INTERACT CLUB | The students of classes I and II participated in the ‘Clean n Care activity’. They displayed remarkable interest and creativity in making and assembling their kit. They used simply available materials at home and filled it with personal hygiene essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, tissue and handwash, etc. This activity helped students understand the importance of personal hygiene and to empower them with the knowledge to create their hygiene kits. This Hands-on activity gave them an experience along with a sense of independence and sensitivity, building young minds into being creative and careful individuals. In little ways, children learned how to take care of themselves and use the different contents. At the same time provide help to others in need. Every student participated in their own creative and innovative way. The activity allowed the students to showcase their creative abilities.

LITERARY CLUB | On Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, an engaging activity titled "The Final Twist" was conducted for the students of Classes I & II. The purpose of the activity was to provide a platform for students to showcase their storytelling abilities while also encouraging creative thinking. Using self-drawn cover pages as props, they narrated stories with unexpected endings, showcasing their imagination and oratory skills. Also, the incorporation of self-drawn cover pages added an aesthetic appeal to the presentations, reflecting the students' artistic talents. The activity successfully engaged students, fostering creativity and enhancing their storytelling abilities. Such activities are vital for holistic development and promoting a love for learning.

Our school has organised a club activity on Monday,29th April 2024, from 10.15 to 11.25 AM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club | Students were given an introduction to Stop Bullying, which gave them a comprehensive idea about the topic concerned. Then they made PLACARDS on the topic by using the materials like pencil, pen, paper, pastel sheet, chart paper, sketch pen, colours etc.Students also explained the message they wanted to convey through their placards. They expressed their views and opinion on Stop Bullying. |
Health and Wellness Club | As a part of this activity students made health card which included various habits and exercises and a meal that should be adopted in order to remain fit and healthy. They also exchanged their health card with others. The activity was very engrossing and the students enjoyed the activity thoroughly. |
Interact Club | As a part of this activity students first prepared “A talk show” in groups and presented it in class on the day of the activity. Theme of the activity was social injustice where they learnt how to raise their voice against issues dowry, domestic violence etc. They also learned to visualize situations and how to express their thoughts effectively. |
Literary and Creative Skills Club | "The World is My Oyster" the primary objective of this activity was to instill in students a sense of curiosity, exploration, and optimism towards life's opportunities and challenges. Students spoke about the ending of the chosen story. They gave a happy or humorous ending to the story to bring out the right twist in the story. Children came properly dressed up and presented their stories in English for two to four minutes with proper expressions and voice modulation. They chose stories of some of the famous writers. The story was judged on the basis of its plot, theme and presentation. The activity prompted the students to write something on their own. |
Nature Club | This activity helped the students to research and develop awareness of how to protect the public lands from exploitation, and the promotion of environmentally sound policies to conserve natural resources. It also enhanced their cognitive and creative skill. |
Scientific Skills Club | Students made natural homemade toothpaste using daily kitchen products. They used their creative quotient in packaging and naming the product. |
Theatre Club | Meena Arora a competent life coach, Counsellor, Psychodrama and NLP Trainer was invited for the session. She is also an Ex-Squadron Leader, Indian Air Force. A small workshop was conducted on the various theatrical skills and different aspects of theatre. Students did hands-on to understand more about expressions, dialogue delivery and importance of gesture and body language. |
Comm-E-Con Club | Students enthusiastically participated in the DIY Piggy Bank Activity, showcasing their creativity through the decoration of their own piggy banks. The primary objective of this Activity was to provide students with a hands-on experience in creating their own piggy banks while imparting essential lessons on financial literacy and the importance of saving money. Through this activity, students learned practical skills in crafting, creativity, and responsible money management. |
Tinker Club | In this session students prepared different useful models like hand blenders, electric cars, rubber band propelled cars etc. using simple materials. Through this activity they were able to learn about identifying the problem and ideating the solutions. |

Health and Wellness Club | Hygiene Carol: Students used their own creative ideas and prepared carols on cleanliness. They presented it using various musical instruments. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. |
Interact Club | Eliminate Social Illness: As a part of this activity students prepared posters, brochures and also wrote poems to raise their voice against the existing social issues. They also explained why they want to eliminate these social issues and what can be done for the betterment of the society. |
Literary and Creative Skills Club | Mock Press: in this activity each participant was called and asked to personify as a celebrity (from the field of cinema, sports, politics etc). Each student came dressed up and enacted as per the chosen celebrity. The other students enacting as journalists asked related questions to the students enacting as different celebrities. The activity aimed at quest for excellence and to enhance communication skills. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. |
Nature Club | Nurture the Nature: Students made bird house/ posters with slogan on the topic ‘Threats to nature and the solutions to them’. After making the bird house/ posters, they presented and discussed their views and opinions on conservation of nature for the present age as well as the future generations. |
Scientific Skills Club | Lava Lamp: this activity helped children to learn two important scientific principles- density and polarity. The main learning for students was that things that are denser than a liquid sink and things that are less dense than the liquid float. Students learnt and understand chemistry concepts by showing their version of lava lamp. |
Theatre Club | As a part of this activity ‘Dumdaar Dialogue’ students chose a famous personality and presented their dialogues with proper voice modulation and expressions. This helped them enhance their acting and theatrical skills. |
Teen consumer Club | Rap-for-the-Awareness activity aimed to educate students about the significance of consumer rights. The presentation component improved students' creative thinking and presentation skills. The activity successfully engaged students in the world of consumer awareness, thus making it a valuable learning experience. |

Circuit bugs/Stem Toys: In this activity students made innovative circuit designs with the help of breadboard, battery, connecting wires, Buzzers, LED etc. Some students also showcased their creativity by preparing stem toys with help of discarded materials like cardboards, elastic bands etc. Through this activity they were able to learn about computational thinking. |

Under the aegis of the Rotary Club, Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar held Installation Ceremony of Interact Club on 30 September 2023.The Chief guest Mr.Rajat Gupta-President Rotary Vivek, Secretary Mr.Rajesh Aggarwal and other Rotarians from the Parent Rotary Club graced the occasion .The Program began with the lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Rajat Gupta, Mr Aggarwal, Ms. Swapna Nair -Principal Bal Bharati Public School,Brij Vihar and other Rotarians.
The programme ushered in with a musical melody that mesmerized one and all. The Past President Shubhangi Mathur presented last years Report. The dignitaries pinned badges on the office Bearers collars. Dance Students also presented a beautifully choreographed dance. Words of grace shared by Mr. Rajat Gupta and Mr.Rajesh Aggarwal highlighted the good work done by the school. Principal Ms. Swapna Nair motivated the students with her encouraging words. AEP Club – Students were given an introduction on the topic concerned, which helped them understand the necessity of concentration and how to enhance concentration without getting distracted. Students sat in a circle and with their hands crisscrossed. One student started the game by tapping hand on the floor and other students followed. A double tap from any student would reverse the turns in the circle and the one who missed it would be out from the game.
Health and Wellness Club –In this activity students performed different aerobic and calisthenic exercises with music. They were also given fitness regimen that they should follow in their day-to-day life.
Interact Club – In this activity students of grade VI-VIII prepared cloth and jute bags and decorated them using ribbons, mirrors, beads, paints, and other material. They then presented their work and shared some ideas about how we can reduce the use of plastic. Through, this activity, students were sensitized about the importance of clean and plastic free environment.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – As a part of this activity students chose a product and advertised it in a humorous way. They chose a wide variety of products and presented it with the help of jingles, slogans, songs, and related props. Children presented the advertisement in English for two minutes with proper expressions and voice modulation.
Nature Club – Students, used their creativity, to make the best out of waste from the things that they could collect from nature like dry twigs, leaves, stones, gravels etc. They weaved all these things using their creative ideas to make different items like Wall hangings, Jewellery, decorate book cover.
Scientific Skills Club – In this activity students prepared DIY musical instruments using the recycled waste materials. Through this activity they learnt about the timbre and frequency of different musical instruments. It also enhanced their cognitive skills while fostering creative thinking and their ability to focus.
Theatre Club – Mr. Aditya Mehra an Ex-student of Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar was invited for the session. A small workshop was conducted on the various theatrical skills and different aspects of theatre. Students did hands-on to understand more about expressions, dialogue delivery and importance of gesture and body language.
Teen consumer Club – Students of grades VI-VIII used their creative ideas and designed an advertisement for their unique product. With their enthusiasm and energy, every student contributed to the delivery of an effective and impressive advertisement.
Tinker Club – In this session students prepared different useful models like hand blenders, electric cars, rubber band propelled cars etc. using simple materials. Through this activity they were able to learn about identifying the problem and ideating the solution.

Our school organised online club activity on Saturday, 28th January, 2023. Interesting activities were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Ms. Anubha Pandey was invited to give a talk on the essential features of Teenage Turmoil. She is a counsellor with highly developed analytical and empathetic skills. Students understood and learnt various aspects of Teenage Turmoil, which in turn would enable them to make others aware of the same. They got to know the causes of teenage turmoil as well as the ways to overcome it. Students prepared leaflets on the topic of Teenage Turmoil and then distributed the same to their fellows and to their neighbours.
Health and Wellness Club – Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. It is a great way to get rid of stress that accumulates daily-in both the body and mind. It heals our body and prevents us from various diseases. It also has the healing properties of cardiovascular disease. In view of this, a session was organized for the students to make them learn the importance of Yoga in day-to-day life. Students performed SURYANAMASKAR and learnt the benefits of every asana.
Interact Club – In this activity students prepared cards or flyers and got signatures of as many people they could in their neighbourhood to sensitize them about the health hazards of consuming Drugs in any form. Then they used them in the form of props to present their skit on the topic “Drugs end all Dreams.” They were able to understand how substance abuse develops and ways to avoid Temptation and Peer Pressure.
Literary and Creative Skills Club –Ms. Jahanvi Wadhwa an ex-student of BBPS, Brij Vihar was invited for the session “Meet the Author.” She has been writing poetry since a very young age. Her first book of poetry “A Bookful of Sunshine” was published when she was just 17 years old. The main aim of the activity was to inspire students and give them an opportunity to meet the author. Students were able to enhance their communication skills. Meet the Author session helped the budding writers to connect with the author’s ideas and get engaged in lively discussions during the question-and-answer session.
Nature Club – In this activity students chose a state and presented its folk dance/song/traditional cuisine. Students learnt that culture provides important social and economic benefits. With improved learning and health, increased tolerance, and opportunities to come together with others, culture enhances our quality of life and increases overall well-being of both individuals and communities.
Scientific Skills Club – In this activity students prepared liquid soaps using eco-friendly materials. Through this activity they learnt the concept of soap making and use of eco-friendly ingredients like aloe-vera, rose water, etc.
Theatre Club – In this activity students presented different theatrical skills like singing, dancing, acting, mimicry etc. Through this activity students were able to gain confidence and overcome stage fear. It helped in strengthening their theatrical skills like dialogue delivery, voice modulation etc.
Teen consumer Club – As a part of this activity students acted as young entrepreneurs introducing their products in the market and presenting their business ideas for future. They gave an interesting name to their business plan and also talked about other young entrepreneurs of India who inspired them in this direction.
Tinker Club – In this activity students made a prototype of an imaginary character (may be cartoon, puppet or Halloween character). They integrated a simple LED circuit with their character to create some special effect like glowing eyes, moving hands etc. They also learnt the use of motion sensor with the circuit.

Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students were given an introduction on the topic of The 17 - Sustainable Development Goals of UN. Sustainable Development is an organizing principle for meeting human development goals while also sustaining the ability of natural systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services on which the economy and society depend. They also got to know that it is crucial to harmonize three core elements: economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection so far as Sustainable Development is concerned.
Health and Wellness Club – An activity on Kit for Fit was organized for the students to make them aware about the importance of a personal care kit. Students first prepared the kit and arranged all the items required for the box. Then they wrote a message on the box dedicating it to their grandparents/parents. Students one by one also explained the importance of the items they have kept in their personal care kit. Students were also explained the necessity of keeping a First Aid box ready all time.
Interact Club – In this activity students prepared different items like Scrapbook/ 3D family tree/ photo strings to present their family memories in a creative way. Through this activity they learnt to express their love and feeling for their families. They have also learnt the value of family bond.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – The main aim of the activity was to inspire students and give them an opportunity to go back to the times when poetry was sung or performed for an audience. The students chose a wide variety of themes for their work addressing gender, politics and education, injustices as well as contemporary world events. It was judged on the content and style of expression and the enthusiasm and passion with which the young poets presented their piece of work. Slam poetry introduced students to a specific form of poetry that allowed the budding poets get a chance to express themselves in a poetic performance.
Nature Club – In this activity students chose a monument and prepared its model using bio-degradable materials like clay, leaves, twigs, newspapers etc. Students then narrated about the social life, religious beliefs, the culture, and the knowledge of the people and about the period in which the monuments were built. Temples, forts, palaces, stupas, and monasteries make the past come alive. These help us in getting closer to our ancient history.
Scientific Skills Club – This activity helped students to learn easy and new tricks to enhance their numerical ability. Students were explained about various mathematical skills and calculations techniques. These techniques could make their calculations fast and easy. Students learned the tricks and posed many good examples. They participated enthusiastically.
Theatre Club – In this activity students enacted about the lives of different freedom fighters highlighting their contribution and the sacrifices that they made for our country. This activity helped the students to sharpen their acting and theatrical skills.
Teen consumer Club – In this activity students demonstrated different ways that can be used to check the quality of the food products. They also gave critical analysis of the different hazardous products and their health effects. The main aim of the activity was to create awareness about the adulterated food products sold in the market.
Tinker Club – In this session students were taught the difference between the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. They integrated the concept of virtual reality and developed an online game using app like Scratch/ Tinkercad etc.

Middle Department of the School organised a club activity on Monday, 21st November 2022. Interesting activities were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of the middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students were given an introduction on the topic of Time Management which, in fact, is the process of planning and controlling how much time to spend on specific activities. Good time management enables an individual to complete more in a shorter period of time. It also lowers stress, and leads to career success. Students of Grade VI solved Jigsaw puzzle to enhance their time management skills while students of Grade VII and VIII presented small skits to tell us about the importance of time management.
Health and Wellness Club – This was an outdoor activity where students were demonstrated about different exercises and their need for a healthy living. Three sessions were conducted for the students which included yoga, Aerobics, and fitness bingo.
Interact Club – In this activity students prepared a Basket “A Bunch of Happiness” with some stationary items and a handmade card with a motivational message. These kits were gifted to the underprivileged children to generate empathy towards less fortunate people. This was an individual and motivational activity and all students participated very enthusiastically.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – The ‘Shark Tank’ activity was conducted to enhance scientific and presentation skills of the students. The participants prepared innovative products to solve the problem of cleanliness / pollution and presented it in an innovative way by using jingles, slogans, and related props.
Nature Club – In this activity students prepared creative products by using the discarded juice cartons, tetra-packs etc. Students learnt that upcycling is a fun way to reduce the amount of garbage we generate. In this activity, students created upcycled items for their own use, to give as gifts etc.
Scientific Skills Club – In this activity students prepared 3-D models of simple machines. Through this activity they learnt the concepts of simple machines like load, fulcrum, and support. They also gave a presentation on how these machines reduces the effort of human being.
Theatre Club – For this activity students dressed up as Kathputli (puppets) and presented different social issues through their enactments. This helped in enhancing their theatrical skills.
Teen consumer Club – In this activity students drew the logos of different companies and then through a small presentation explained the idea behind these logos and why these logos were selected.
Tinker Club – In this activity students learnt how to make different circuits by using different combinations- series and parallel. They learnt to work on electronic assembly, working of LED. The students integrated their creativity with the basic concepts of electricity. They learnt designing and ways to use their creativity constructively.

The main attraction of the session was the observation of the moon and planets like Jupiter and its moon and Saturn observable at the particular evening. Along with this, students learned how to point a telescope towards moon without actually directly looking towards it. Students were fascinated and really excited for the session.

Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students were given an introduction on the topic of Anger Management which, is effective in helping them to regulate their behaviour and deal with their feelings of anger when they surface. It also lowers stress, and leads to career success.
It was an individual activity where each child was given a situation which makes them angry and was asked to jot down the possible ways that would help them to overcome the situation without getting angry. Each child presented his/ her views/ opinions on the situation. They were guided by the teacher and other students also gave valuable suggestions that can help them control anger in an effective manner.
Health and Wellness Club – In this activity, students made healthy immunity booster drinks and snacks by using different ingredients like fruits, vegetables, dry fruits and medicinal herbs etc. Through this activity they learnt about the medicinal properties of various herbs and plants. Students participated enthusiastically in the activity.
Interact Club – In this activity students had prepared “A talk show” in groups and presented the same in class on the day of activity. Theme of the Activity was Social injustice. Through this activity they have learned how to raise their voice against social injustice. They also learnt to visualize situations and gave expressions to their thoughts. This was a group activity and all students participated very enthusiastically.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – Students created puppets in the class and presented a puppet show. The activity was done in groups and each team presented for about 1.5 minutes. The activity aided in presenting a sensitive topic like ‘Gender Stereotypes’ prevalent in society by showcasing their creative sides as well as enhancing their fluency while presenting the show.
Nature Club – In this activity students presented themselves as members of a tribe and talked about their lifestyle, art forms, language and culture. Through this activity they learnt about different tribes and their lifestyles, their culture and how it influences our life. It also helped them to develop respect and gratitude for the tribes and their culture.
Scientific Skills Club – In this activity students prepared paper spinners, boomerang and Balloon cars. Through this activity they learnt the concept of motion behind the Balloon Cars, Boomerang and Paper Spinners and also understood the principles of change in air pressure, flow and force.

Our school has organised a club activity on Monday, 9th May 2022, from 8.30 to 9.40 AM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – Mr. Rajeev Maikhuri from MSSO, AIIMS Delhi was invited to give a talk on the importance of organ donation. Students understood and learnt various aspects and merits of organ donation, which in turn would enable them to make others aware of the importance of this noble task. An interactive session was held on the said event. Students prepared leaflets on organ donation and then distributed the same to their neighbours.
Health and Wellness Club –A workshop was organised to teach students about the importance of physical and psychological wellbeing. Ms. Anubha Pandey, who has been working as a Counsellor for about 30 years, taught students about ways to manage stress in day-to-day life, positive thinking, how to control anger and ways to inculcate a healthy lifestyle. Students also performed different exercises and asanas under her supervision.
Interact Club – In this activity students prepared Caricatures of their parents. They also wrote a few lines about their parents sharing some live experiences which strengthened their bonds and also expressed their love and respect for parents. This was an individual activity and all students participated very enthusiastically.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – In this activity students chose their favourite character from any story/ novel and were able to reason out why they chose the character. They gave an overall description of their chosen character. This activity aimed at enhancing creativity and brainstorming skills in the students. Role Play gives a platform to students to come out of their shell and present the character in class.
Nature Club – In this activity students made storyboard on different environmental awareness programs and discussed their importance. They learnt the creative ways to present a story and also developed various skills like observation, discussion, logical reasoning, through interaction with immediate surroundings.
Scientific Skills Club – Students used China rose and turmeric powder as indicators for testing acids and base solutions. They also used these tricks to write hidden notes which were visible only when exposed to light. Through this activity students learnt about oxidation reaction in a creative way.
Theatre Club – Mr. Rice was invited from HT Pace. A small session was conducted on the various theatrical skills and different aspects of theatre. Students did hands-on to understand more about expressions, dialogue delivery and importance of gesture and body language.
Teen consumer Club – Students were introduced to the concept of being a good and awakened consumer. As a part of this activity students presented their enactment in groups and acted as deceived consumers in mock consumer court. They were made aware about consumer duties and rights.
Tinker Club – In this session students prepared different useful models like hand blenders, electric cars, rubber band propelled cars etc. using simple materials. Through this activity they were able to learn about identifying the problem and ideating the solution.

The Interact Club Activity-Making of Festive Ornaments was held on 15th January, 2022. The children made festive ornaments, decorative stars, wall hangings, gift bags, dream catcher, lamps etc. They used different techniques like quilting, paper folding and decorated them with materials like mirrors, sparkles etc in a creative and artistic manner.
The objective behind the activity was of making ornaments with innovative techniques widely used in festivals like Diwali, Christmas, Durga Puja, Ganesh Chaturthi etc. The most important the ornaments were to be gifted to the underprivileged people.
Thus, it was a great learning experience as well as an enjoyable activity for all the students. It enabled them to make beautiful festive ornaments as well as showcase their feelings towards the needy people in society.

<align='justify'>Our school has organised a club activity on Saturday, 15th January, 2022 from 8.00 to 9.00 AM. Interesting activities and workshops were conducted to make students future ready. All the students of middle department participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in the club Activities-
AEP Club – In this activity students enacted a Social Advertisement using props, placards, banners and posters etc on the topic- “Say no to Substance Abuse” to create awareness among the teenagers. Through this activity they learnt various techniques which would enable them to assertively say no to people who encourage them to engage in substance abuse.
ATL Club – In this session students were taught about the difference between the Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. They integrated the concept of virtual reality and developed an online game using the applications like Scratch/ Tinkercad etc.
Health and Wellness Club – In this activity students made healthy landscapes using different fruits and vegetables. They had cut the fruit and vegetables into different shapes and arranged them to create a picturesque landscape/scenery. Through this activity they were able to depict a scene from their day-to-day life in a creative manner.
Interact Club – As a part of this activity students chose a government policy or scheme launched recently (for example- Skill India, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna etc.) and prepared a Newsletter on it. They also gave a small presentation of about 2-3 minutes in which they explained the policy/scheme chosen by them and its benefits. This activity aimed at sensitising children towards the efforts made by our government for the welfare of the society.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – In this activity students were shown three different images with numbers and dots. Students connected the dots and formed a character in their minds. They then weaved a story on that character with their imagination and presented it on the spot.
Nature Club – Each class was allotted a topic for this activity. Students used old and discarded plastic bottles and trays and recreated them into beautiful planters, pen stands, wall hangings and bird feeders. Through this activity students were able to understand the concept of 5Rs.
Scientific Skills Club – During this activity students performed different scientific activities based on simple pendulum. Each child (turn-wise) was asked to prepare a painting using their pendulum. Here they have developed a temptation for inquiry-based science education and also learnt the concept of simple pendulum.
Teen consumer Club – As a part of this activity students made eco-friendly products like paper bags, organisers and chandeliers, used in our day-to-day life to promote green consumerism.
Theatre Club – In this activity students tried to explain the importance of healthy food, cleanliness and hygiene with the help of a puppet or hand show. This session not only helped them to understand the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and ways to prevent pollution but also enhanced their presentation skills and self-confidence

The students of Interact club wrote a short paragraph on their experiences of helping the needy people. They wrote a meaningful quote on kindness on an A4 size sheet along with a creative border. The students also spoke a few lines on the joy they experienced while giving to the needy.
Thus, it was a great learning experience as well as an enjoyable activity for all the students. It enabled them to showcase their feelings towards the under privileged section of the society and how by everyone doing their bit, we can make a difference in the life of a needy person.

CLUB ACTIVITIES-MIDDLE DEPARTMENT
The clubs of middle department have conducted interesting activities and workshops were also organised to make students future ready. All the students participated enthusiastically in these activities.
Some Highlights of the activities and workshops conducted in club Activities-
AEP Club – Students attended an online session on Practising Mindfulness conducted by Mr. Sanju, a trained yoga instructor from MDNY, Delhi. In this session students learned different techniques of practicing mindfulness and were also trained to increase concentration and attention and how to achieve an emotionally calm and stable state.
ATL Club – In this session students learnt the use and working of Tinkercad App. Tinkercad is a free-of-charge, online 3D modelling program that runs in a web browser. It is a popular platform for creating models for 3D printing. A video regarding making of virtual circuits was shown and explained to the students. Students prepared virtual circuits using tinker cad.
Health and Wellness Club – An online workshop was conducted for students in which they attended a talk given by Ms. Mitali Chatterjee, working as a counsellor with BBPS, Brij Vihar. Students learnt about the various techniques of stress management, anger management and importance of positive thinking for a healthy life.
Interact Club - In this activity students prepared food for their helpers or people who are in need. They shared food and showed empathy towards the people and also tried to understand the problems faced by them in the present scenario. This was an individual and motivational activity and all students participated very enthusiastically.
Literary and Creative Skills Club – Students were shown three different stories. Each child then presented the story shown to them with a different ending. Students also dressed up like the characters from their assigned stories to make the presentation livelier.
Nature Club – This activity gave students an opportunity to pen down their imagination and enhance their creative skills. Each child narrated a story that they created with the help of the hints provided to them.
Scientific Skills Club – Students prepared a Magic Square using their date of birth in 3 X 3 or 5 X 5 matrixes on A4 sheets. Here they have learned about mathematical tricks, Sudoku, etc.
Teen consumer Club – In this activity students enacted as aspiring entrepreneurs from around the world and presented their business models in an interesting manner and persuade investors to invest money in their idea.
Theatre Club –
Each child was given a topic/word/phrase during the activity and they prepared a dialogue based on the topic allotted to them. It was a very engrossing activity and all students enjoyed framing dialogues and presented them will full enthusiasm.

An Online self defense training for girls and women was organized by Mr.Rajan Nair of Tata Consultancy. Around 30 Interactors from classes vi-xii attended the workshop. Resource Person Mr. Rajan Nair conducted the training program for girls and women safety. He taught many tricks for defending oneself with hands on practice. It was very enriching experience for the children who participated in the training program.

Students also discussed the recipe of preparing this nutritious snack and its nutritional benefits. They also maintained hand hygiene and cleanliness during the preparation. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

Story telling is a unique human skill shared amongst people far and wide. It opens up the vivid world of imaginations. The children participated in the Literary Club Activity, ‘Tell – A – Happy - Tale’ on 29-5-21, the young vibrant story tellers came forth with wonderful happy tales. While some stories provided food for thought. Some reinforced moral values and some were humorous. The children were appropriately dressed and even carried relevant props. The students narrated the story with expressions, confidence and using other presentation skills.
LEARNING OUTCOME-
Through this activity students got a platform to communicate their thoughts and feelings. They were encouraged to use their imagination, creativity and increase their verbal proficiency.

The children participated in the Literary Club Activity, ‘Inspiring Tales’ on 29-5-21. Each child narrated a story of bravery and courage. The children narrated stories of corona warriors, inspiring heroes of the nation and tales of courage of their friends. Each child was appropriately dressed and carried relevant props. The activity was very inspiring and was thoroughly enjoyed by the children.

Students have made an innovative thing from the waste material available at home. They spoke few sentences on it and explain how they make it.
Students of both the classes participated enthusiastically in it. They showed keen interest and thoroughly enjoyed doing it.

Students of Nature Club participated in the Mother Earth-Waste Management 3R’s activity. Each child made a paper bag using waste materials like old magazines, newspapers etc and decorated it. They made beautiful paper bags and spoke few lines about Waste management using 3R’s that is Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Students were creative and innovative. They were very enthusiastic during the activity.

The students of classes II and III participated in ‘Napkin holder making activity’ which was conducted online. The students made beautiful napkin holders to present them to the underprivileged as a gift of hope. The activity was a platform for the students to showcase their creative ability and it developed a feeling of joy and happiness in giving. There were about 39 participants from class II and 42 from class III
NAME OF THE ACTIVITY: BIRD FEEDER MAKING ACTIVITY

The Interact Club Activity-Bird Feeder Making was held on 29th May, 2021. The children made colorful and creative bird feeders using handmade paper, pastel paper, waste materials etc. They kept containers for grains/water and decorated it with mirrors, stars and other decorative material. The children would hang the bird feeder on the tree in their garden or keep it on the terrace.
Thus it was an enjoyable activity for all the students which enabled them to showcase their creative abilities as well as learnt to always do their bit for helping the birds so as to do a good deed as well as maintain a balance in Nature.

District Interact Recognition Ceremony was held online on Zoom Meeting on Thursday, 25th June 2020 . This is in recognition of the year long hard work done by the students and living upto the theme of Rotary Me to We
Our school was felicitated for the valuable work done by the Interactors in the session 2019-2020 by the District Governor .
The school bagged the ‘gold’ prize for various activities organized and attended by the Interactors. The teacher coordinator Mrs.Renu Duggal Arora also got Governors Special Appreciation Award.
The club co-ordinator Mrs Renu Duggal Arora along with the club President Riya Khattar and Srishty Gandharv attended the function online. Srishty also performed live at the function. Riya khattar –President,Interact club received the award on behalf of the interact club of the school.
- Club activities are necessary for the development of critical and multi-disciplinary thinking as well as for developing a positive and problem solving attitude.
- Club activities allow students to learn about the real world around them, enable them to examine, assess and interpret the problems and concerns related to the environment and find out solutions for the same.
- Our school provides this opportunity to the students of all classes and encourages them to participate in club activities with the motive to develop creative skills, scientific skills, information and communication skills, leadership skills and aesthetic skills.
