WINTER CARNIVAL 2024
On December 14, 2024, Bal Bharati Public School in Brij Vihar enthusiastically embraced the spirit of its long-anticipated Winter Carnival, a vibrant celebration themed “CINETALKIES” in honor of 111 glorious years of Indian cinema. The event artfully depicted the rich and diverse journey of Indian films, inviting attendees to immerse themselves in the world of storytelling that has captivated audiences for over a century.
The atmosphere was alive with the cheerful participation of students, parents, and staff members, all contributing to the festive spirit. Under a brilliant blue sky, the warm and sunny weather enhanced the joyous ambiance, creating a delightful backdrop that truly accentuated the significance of this memorable occasion. Laughter, music, and a palpable sense of community filled the air, making the carnival a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
The school effectively utilized its premises by setting up 120 stalls. These stalls offered a variety of experiences, including spiritual guidance, wealth management, exquisite merchandise, a baby show, diverse cuisines, exhilarating rides, and a DJ. This wide range of activities ensured that people of all ages and backgrounds were engaged. Additionally, the cultural performances by the school's students were equally captivating.
To accommodate diverse taste preferences, food stalls featuring regional cuisine, healthy options, and fusion dishes were established. Well-known food chains like Yellow Bowl, Dunkin Donuts, and Keventers also took part.
The school carnival also provided a platform for budding women entrepreneurs and local businesses to showcase their products. A wide variety of handicrafts, artisanal delicacies, wellness services, ethnic and contemporary jewellery, exquisite handlooms, and fabrics were showcased.
To enhance the festivities, many fortunate students won a remarkable selection of raffle prizes. It was also heartwarming to see a significant number of alumni who attended to celebrate the long-awaited event for their alma mater.
The remarkable success of the carnival served as a testament to the countless hours of preparation and dedication poured in by both teachers and parents. Festive Fun Fills the Air at Bal Bharati Public School Winter Carnival
On December 23rd, 2023, Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar, was transformed into a festive heaven , buzzing with laughter, music, and the joyous screams of students conquering the thrill of carnival rides. The chief guests were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Mrs.Swapna Nair.
This annual event was a celebration of community spirit and holiday cheer, brought together students, teachers, and families for a day of pure, unadulterated fun.
The entrance and stage was decorated with warli art paintings and main field pulsed with the vibrant energy of a festive bazaar. A brightly lit stage served as the heart of the carnival, where student performers dazzled with cultural dances and heartwarming musical numbers. From traditional folk steps to contemporary pop medleys, the stage pulsed with the rhythm of youthful talent and cultural pride.
Adding to the excitement were the game stalls, each manned by enthusiastic teachers who donned their carnival barker hats for the afternoon. Tambola tickets rustled, raffle drums thundered, and anticipation crackled in the air as lucky winners claimed their prizes.
But no carnival is complete without delectable treats, and the food stalls did not disappoint. From piping hot pizzas and crispy fries to decadent desserts and steaming mugs of hot chocolate, the aroma of deliciousness enticed taste buds throughout the day. The best part? Prices were kept remarkably reasonable, ensuring everyone could indulge in sweet (or savory) treats.
Beyond the stage and food stalls, the field hosted a mini amusement park of thrilling rides. The mighty pirate ship swung skyward, sending shrieks of laughter across the ground, while the daring roller coaster weaved its way through twists and turns, eliciting adrenaline-pumping screams of excitement. Parents, meanwhile, had their own haven of delights – stalls brimmed with trendy clothes and accessories, offering a welcome opportunity to shop for the upcoming holiday season.
The success of the carnival was a testament to the months of preparation and hard work poured in by the teachers and parents. The much-awaited Winter Carnival was held at Bal Bharati Public School on Saturday 10th December 2022.
The entire school ground was lined with an array of stalls – Games stalls put up by school students and different vendors showcasing their artistic and creative abilities through a variety of eco-friendly products. The carnival pulsated with scintillating music and a lively crowd. The carnival had something in store for everybody, be it children or adults. A very special segment catering to the interest of the kids included a variety of games and rides, selfie station, camel ride , Tambola, DJ, etc. were added attractions.
A bevvy of edible delights , raffle draws and exciting prizes ensured an unforgettable time with friends and family.
The zest and zeal exhibited by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the Winter carnival 2022 a memorable one.
