Name of the Activity-Video Conference( Peace and Reconciliation)

Day and Date-Thursday,13th October 2016

Participating Classes- VIII-IX

13 students participated in a Video Conference for 60 minutes on the topic ‘Peace and Reconciliation’. Students expressed their views and concerns about the need of Peace in their surroundings. They interacted with other Schools from different countries like South Africa, Pakistan and India for making world  a peaceful place to live in, by playing roles at micro levels.

Overall, the essentials of dialogue amongst different countries took place very effectively and students enjoyed a lot.

*They learned about the importance of Peace and Reconciliation

*They enhanced their listening and speaking skills

NAME OF ACTIVITY:         Vateez Quiz

DAY &DATE:  FRIDAY, 7^th October 2016

 PARTICIPATING CLASS/ CLASSES:  IX-XI

• The quiz comprised of 4 teams.
• Each team had four members from classes IX, X and XI respectively.
• The quiz had rounds of  different topics like: a)Books   b)Places  c) Personalities  d)Things of everyday use  e)Scientific terms  f)Healthy  food  g) Sports
• Teams were allowed to make their strategies for guessing the right answer.
• Only one member was allowed to ask questions after discussion with team mates, team leader was changed in each round.
• In case team was not able to answer then only one guess was allowed from the audience of the respective team.

NAME OF ACTIVITY: Cook a storm –International Cuisine

DAY &DATE: Friday, 7^th October 2016

 PARTICIPATING CLASS:  X

Students in each house were divided into the group of three for the preparation of Salad or a Sandwich. The Dish was presented along with the information about its nutritive value. The judgment was done on the basis of presentation and cleanliness, creativity and originality.

The Basketball Inter House Tournament was organised for class XI girls. Five students from each house participated in the Tournament. They were judged on the basis of Baskets scored.
